28 years of Gunnm and Hollywood and America has brought back to the forefront one of the greatest manga and anime made during the golden age of not only of manga but anime and a master piece of Japanese story telling and drawing. Manga is a phenomenon in Japan so engrained as the air that we breath. A treasure to the world and appreciation to when being an otaku was foreign thing in the world, but now a global phenomenon
Eventually, when Hollywood remakes this anime, people will appreciate how beautiful the story and music of the OVA is. This cover is wonderful. It really captures the feeling of the anime imo.
I watched Alita battle angel with no knowledge of the story and I gotta say, I appreciate this comment as I do Alita. It just amazes me how powerful Alita's story is and her world.
Wow I just finished reading the deluxe box set manga and it was damn emotional... It really made me feel for Alita and her journey, likewise with the movie. I don't even read manga/watch anime either, I only picked it up because of how much I loved the movie. All I can say is the manga was well worth the read!
The journey doesn't end there! It continues in Last Order and then In Mars Chronicle. But do keep in mind that the original ending isn't canon anymore. The mangaka had serious health issues back then and was forced to rush an ending. He never liked that ending because there were so many things he still wanted to include which had to be cut out, and when he recovered he made the original ending non-canon and continued the story in Last Order. The cutoff point happens in chapter 51 after THAT happens. The dream/flashback is already not canon anymore.
I really wish for the sequel with the Tuned arc ! So much action and awesome places, huge job for CGI it's true but incredibly epic, the story really ramps up

Tous les gens que j'ai connus, les choses que j'ai faites... Je n'avais jamais compris avant... cette douleur... mais... Maintenant je sais ! This cover reminds me if Final Fantasy track and many JRPG in 90-s. If only this track ended up in the movies, I think there would be more people who will appreciate Alita movie.
It is a bit sad they didn´t use it on the movie. The original is beautiful, but this version is just great. Very emotional and expresive. I am one of the cry ones XD . Congrats!

wow !!!!! ...... this video was uploaded in 2015, it was not heard from the movie yet ..... wow that nice tribute came to my soul deep inside, I have read the manga since 91 to 95 and then just forget it and now with this of the movie, which I obviously saw it, it was back in my heart, beautiful and exquisite song, very well done, I love ALITA and we will not stand by in the presence of evil

Tases melodies are precious. They should have been added in the film, send them letters saying to add this song. It cannot be that expensive to add in the next movie. It would make it memorable, all great movies have a great melody
