Usually they serve Turkish delight with Turkish Coffee. If you know Turkish Coffee you would know that there is Coffee beans sand(?) at the bottom of your Coffee. And that makes it heavy in taste and to balance that heavy Coffee taste they serve delight and a glass water with a Turkish Coffee.
At 14:40, the sentence on the package " Önce Ekşi, Sonra Tatlı" means "Before Soury, After Sweet" .. Also the one word on that package "Karpuz" means "Watermelon"
Guys 11:19 about "ALBENİ" .. Albeni means Allure in Turkish language but interesting part is ; If you spell it like Al Beni, not Albeni, that means "Take me" :D "Al" means "take", "beni" means "me".... Shortly, If you call it " ALBENİ", you're talking about "Allure".. If you call it " AL BENİ" , you're meaning " TAKE ME" :D
Guys funny detail at 17:17 (the last sugar) ... You saw 2 words on the package.. "Ekşi Yüz" .. You know what it means? We actually saw on your faces what it means :)) "Ekşi Yüz" means " Soury Face" :D So it's the point of that sugar :D Thank you for all your reactions guys
How much was that box? I'm a Brit living in Turkey and that's about £3 worth of scran! And yeah, Turkish delight, Lokum, is often given to you on the saucer when you get a Turkish coffee.
The boxes start at £7 - but I think it's pretty decent value considering the price you normally pay on import websites etc! ☺ Nice, I imagine it goes well with how strong Turkish coffee is!
@@MaverickBaking oh, that's way cheaper than I was expecting. Snacks here are pretty banging, it's a shame that the beer to go with it is pretty terrible.
You are so cute 💖 greetings from Turkey 💜 i hope you guys will come to Turkey one day!
