Your comment about optimate not having a button to select lithium is not correct. The current optimate 4 gold has a button to choose lead acid and lithium- it also is compatible with BMW canbus with a specific program selected by button!
Thanks for the update. I did say in the video it was my experience optimate didn’t have a button but made it clear I wasn’t sure if that was the case across all of their products. My dual optimate charger doesn’t
Optimate has heard you and now produce the Optimate4 Quad Program with a button to cycle between Lead and Lithium batteries with or without CAN Bus (4 possibilities). It works perfectly well.
Wish I could afford the 1300 to put this on. Guess I’ll have to get an ezcan for my 1200. I’ve just fitted an ammo guard and it’s bloody brilliant. Bike thing is my new favourite shop 😃
Sugestion mate for your next videos, use a mirror in front of you, I think will make much easer to you to manage the info that you want paas to us. Keep up.
Really can’t get the gypflash to work 1.12PL on my gs r1300 . I’ve bought the adaptor ( cigarette lighter to can bus adaptor ) to plug into socket to the side of the tft display .
Hi Steve, great video. A few questions: Q1. I have a CANsmart™ Controller GEN II bought from your good self on my 1250. (Will be getting 1300 next month), Will this controller be compatible with 1300? Q2. If not compatible, will the new “Mojave” from hex be compatible (plug & play) with the harness for my D4s & B6? Also I think I recall you mentioning in an old video that the new hex would have a mobile app so you don’t have to use laptop to configure the lights, is this the case with the new hex? Thanks 👍
I have a feeling you emailed us direct didn't you? No the 1250 ezcan will not work on the 1300. It's a different canbus system on the bike hence a new one had to be made. Yes the Mojave will work with any Light pod and b6. The bluetooth dongle and app is still on the back burner. It is coming and I have seen some of the designs.

Hi, I was hoping the content in this video would clear this up. What's the difference between the 2 ezcans? Hmm, they're 2 different bikes. If the 1300 was the same as the 1250 well then Hex wouldnt have made a new ezcan. The canbus is very different but even more so, the plugs are different. the plug for the 1250 is no longer on the 1300 model. Look in the description and and you'll see the weiser dongles.

They fit perfectly if you have bar risers on 👍

No. Different bike. Very different bike
How do you connect a USB, bike is 12v and USB is 5v ??
If your bike doesn’t have a usb, you generally find when you fit a USB adapter to it, it automatically have a 5v converter installed
