- This week I'm going to see if I can get my 1996 Suzuki King Quad 4x4 running! I'm hoping I don't have to work on the carburetor, but it looks like that might be the issue, so I'll take you along as I dig into the guts of the ATV and get it figured out!
Welcome to Garage Story!
I'm in the business of hunting up old lawn mowers and other small machines, and either parting them out, or fixing them up and selling them for profit. Come along for the ride with my weekly vlogs, and how-to videos.

good video complicated machine, Lewis
Thanks! They are a bit complicated, with the vacuum system and all.
Looking forward to the rebuild.
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing!
My pleasure! There should be more atv content coming up.
Keep that running for my visit... whenever that might be!
Sounds like a plan!
The carburetor comes out super easy. There's only 3 jets inside there. A small one, just a cap jet. Of fen long one, which is a airflower and in your Manja, it's very simple carburetor to take out takes about 5 minutes to pull the 2 clamps off. You don't even have to take the carburetor completely off the quad with t. Throttle or the choke lever, you can leave that on there and just clean it out with welding, a brazing tip cleaner.
I'm just not getting any fuel into the carburetor at all. That was as of this morning but I will maybe post a youtube video on this
Where does the inlet tube going to the air box go?
It goes up by all the range controls levers above the gas tank. It’s basically a snorkel.
I like your video . I have a Question . the bike run well when not moving . But if i want move and run little faster the bike be funky run as lagy Like if are sinking because the gaz sinking and sparking . gaz are news cabuartor are clean is out from garage i have to put in choke and filter airs detached . I think i need put new caburator Do i ?
I’m not sure what the problem would be. Mine is kind of acting like that now, but I haven’t made time yet to work on it again. It might be the fuel pump.
@garagestory I found it and fixed little is the caburator float . pointy . the float need adjutement . and is acte little better . I have buy other caburator . but the old one will old for 5 month ^_^
Nice!
