Striper Fishing At San Luis Reservoir

San Luis Reservoir will keep you guessing every striper trip. This trip to the big lake was pretty tough. All the stripers in the usual spots just weren't there anymore or weren't active.
We tried Portuguese Cove and Lone Oak Bay in the morning before finding out they were relating to structures like channels and submerged islands.

great video, I remember my fishing trip to San Luis reservoir. we fished from shore and it was very productive. I caught my first keeper sized striper there. for years I've been wanting to go back and wet some line.
