theres a usb port on the bottom of the universal hub that i plugged into, it gave the relay the 5v needed to work. the connection proved secure enough to not have issues.
Hi I’m in the progress of doing this mod just to the B button hit a little problem where I seem to have use the a after the b on the remote to get the b on the wheel to activate do you know what I can do to just use the b on the remote. A great mod not to difficult to do would have been a bit easier with some close ups on the wiring but thanks for the video I can soon actually play all pre fm7 forza’s good job
yes i primarily did this for the forza series since even on pc the game does not support the fanatec handbrake. but yes i use it on my xbox on forza 6 and forza horizon 3. and i have another video showing how to do it on a logitech wheel.
Nice mod do you have some wire diagram i don't get the part from the wheel i see you tap de voltage but how do you connect to from the b button to the receiver ?
if you have the same wheel then its the outer pins on the main connection there red and black wires for power. the b button was difficult to soldier onto i would recommend drilling tiny holes at the contact points. not a very difficult mod but took patience for the button soldier connections.
and the reciever you just connect to the second and third pins from the left side. it doesnt matter which order the wires from the button are connected.
i would say the motor is driven by 12 volts. the controller part of the wheel with buttons has 5 volt power. you would be the first to do it to a thrustmaster but not the first person to simply tap into the buttons. the button part should be easy and a multi meter will identify your 5 volt source. its most likely a red and black wire. good luck
thnksss for the information but i do some research but want to do it for the thrustmaster TX And found a circuit scheme for it and see its 5v from red and black :D thanks you made my day and you have a new subscriber :)
Damn hell of a rig bro love the handbrake!!
I've been blessed by the drift god.
TheSLAPTrain did you come here after my tip just asking ;)
lowkey researching how to do this for a G920 and my fav youtuber is here lol. LITTT
slap did you try this or you still running jessies mod?
TheSLAPTrain can you show us how you made your rig in a vid? I couldn't find any.
Nice wheel this mod works with the tss sparco handbrake? I wish I could make it work on my ps4
I like it.. but how are you getting the constant (USB) voltage to the relay without it all getting fouled up as you play and turn the wheel?
theres a usb port on the bottom of the universal hub that i plugged into, it gave the relay the 5v needed to work. the connection proved secure enough to not have issues.
3:50 start of mod process

Which handbrake are you using for this?
this is the fanatec handbrake. it goes for 100 dollars or so and you can use it with any wheel setup with a $20 USB adapter.
Viking Elite PC ok thanks. Does this also work with the Xbox one ?

you can use any handbrake you want. on my other video my friend bought a $50 handbrake on amazon and we used that. this one here Link: a.co/4Uv9pOs
Will this work for ps4?
If the wheel is compatible with a ps4 then yes, but make sure you choose the button or buttons you will need.
Cool

Will this work with the TMX?
where there's a will there's a way and yeah it's less painful than figuring out how a mouse trap works.
"Wireless" eh?
Do you not understand it?
Great, now there's only 25 wires and cables left...
