    One thing you should know though is acetone might be ok on the Soft leather pad parts but on the hard plastic and even softer plastics it actually causes micro cracking and breakdown of the plastic... The isopropyl alcohol/rubbing alcohol/denatured Alcohol are the way to go with the spray away glass cleaner...

    iv used the duplicolor dye spray i find it sprays wayy better on its own and blends amazing so done need to put it on heavy takes 2 coats its color lays well and binds even with one coat no need for more then 2 color wont get any darker with more coats

    Great video. I like that you took your time and you're right, prep is everything. Light coats and 8" to 10" away. I've seen where people say if you can keep the spray can vertical, you'll get a more consistent spray out of the can. Great job!

    • @Tiktok_nostalgic_Gaming
      @Tiktok_nostalgic_Gaming 4 года назад +1

      keeping the can vertical has nothing to do with DUPLI-COLOR vynil paint... they have a red tip that can be rotated on the little hole where the paint comes out. Just rotate that and its like if it was vertical...

    All of this was very good advice and I would not disagree with any of it. The only thing you left out is another extremely important part in doing a project like this!! And that would be temperature!! Especially with plastic make sure that not just the room you are in is warm enough but the actual panel also. That is a mistake some make by bringing in a panel from outside off of a cold truck and just start on it. Rubbing alcohol and acetone are very cold and will chill the surface so if any doubt it doesn't hurt to carefully warm it up with a heat gun or something like that just don't get to crazy with it obviously LoL. A warm or correct temp panel helps with drying and is all around better to have so, ya. That's all!! LoL

    Dude do you have clue how toxic acetone is and how aborbant your skin is? Not good... Get some gloves on!! Hard to find but butyl rubber gloves are the best against acetone. Nitril in pinch, I even use gloves for alcohol, etc etc your liver will appreciate it
