Hi John. I really love seeing this decade sales each month. Just fantastic cards. Of course, seeing the Leaf Jackie still holding very strong each month makes me happy. I may be a little biased, but when I look at my card, that I picked up at Strongsville last year, I feel really good about it. I still am super happy with my sample as it is a real beauty in my eyes compared to a lot I see selling, for a lot more than I paid. Again, I`m a little biased, lol. Thanks for sharing my friend, talk soon pal.
Thank you, John. The Musial, Ruth, and Paige cards are beautiful. Wish I had them. Actually, all the cards look great. Do you ever do videos on SGC cards? I prefer to use them because I like the look of the slab.
I wish I had some of those cards in my collection as well, even lower-graded copies. I focused on just PSA graded cards since those are the ones I collect. I suppose at some point I could incorporate SGC graded cards into the mix. It would be a little more work on the back end for me. But might be worth it since I know there are some who only collect SGC graded cards.
It's always a thrill to see a card that I own on your list, albeit in lower grade. I'm sure others among your subscribers could say the same. As for the $11,000 Ruth, I'd rather have the $3,000 Ruth and $8,000 worth of other great cards!
Thanks John. My collection isn't quite at the point yet where I can state I have some of the cards that usually show up on these lists, but someday I hope to be able to have that reaction. 😃 I agree. For the price, that 1.5 has great eye appeal (can't remember what the back looked like).
Thanks for compiling and sharing, John. Don’t remember seeing the Martin Dihigo card. Regarding the Ruth 49 Leaf: I would choose his PSA 1.5 based on eye appeal.
About 3 or 4 years ago a dude bought that Dihigo for 2k and turned around and put it up 2 weeks later for $8000. It’s been there a long time but the flipper finally made that bank. I was watching that card at the time he bought it but passed because of that ugly black spot on the card.
Wow! I guess it finally did pay off for him. Sometimes a certain flaw in a card just turns us off from it. I know that if I see a card that I know the first thing I'll notice when I look at it is a flaw, then I won't buy it.
Stan Musial, Ted Williams , Joe D ., Jackie Robinson Do you think over the Holidays where people work that anybody gave any cards out? Do you think for Santa week anybody got any cards example 1974 Dave Parker? 1975 Dave Winfield?
I don't know if anyone had a work exchange where they received any cards. I'm guessing very few. I know that if my work had a gift exchange no one would know enough to get me any specific cards. It would probably just be an eBay gift card. I don't think anyone that I work with has any clue about collecting sports cards.
@@WadeBoggsFan At my office I gave a new employee a bunch of cards a newer card of Lou Brock , Lou Whitaker the shiny cards , some pokeman cards some hockey cards defnatley no Dave Parker and no Dave Winfield 1974 and 1975.
Are you referring to me saying 1949 Leaf instead of 1948 Leaf? It's fairly common knowledge now that the Leaf cards were released in 1949 and not 1948. But PSA won't change the date on their slabs, even for newly graded cards (probably because of the registry). So since collectors recognize them as a 49 issue, that's how I refer to them.
Well done 👍 🎉
Thanks Ken!
Great video. That DiHigo card is very rare.
Thanks Orlando! I'd never seen that card before.
Someday I hope to pick up both the Satchel and Jackie Leaf cards. Thanks for sharing! ⚾️⭐️🔥
I would love to have them in my collection as well!

Thanks Stephen! Yes, you should be very happy with your Jackie copy. It has outstanding eye appeal!
Thanks for the recap. I’d take that PSA 1 Ruth. I bet you would as well. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks RJ! Yeah, given the price and the overall eye appeal, I'd be very happy with that first 1.5.

I agree, especially the one in the middle.
Thanks Kevin. I'd never seen that Dihigo card before either. For budget purposes, I'd be very happy with that first 1.5 as well.

That was nice!
You need to get your years right.
