You want a subtle colour as you said. What about a dark blue? I like black but you want something different. The best colour I’ve seen is a military green but M-B have cornered that. Yep, a midnight blue for me. Up to you of course...
Here's me working 50 hours a week with my one Audi S3 and I looked at getting it wrapped and couldn't bring myself to spend £1500+ on something temporary and there's Archie boy here with a job making videos, a supercar and a £50k hot hatch and wraps a car every 3 weeks at a cost of over £2k. I'm definitely jealous. Don't know how people do it.
Nardo grey with black and red accents to match the interior! It would get cool side by side with the rs3(nardo grey team). Otherwise keep it in black and give it some red accents(my choice). Don't get too flashy, u already have the R8 for it... cheers mate!
NO. Carbon Steel Grey like on my GTI Clubsport on my channel is 5 million times sexier. Esp coupled with 90% tinted windows & black roof! It slaughters the Nardo.
Go for the blue, looks like my South Seas Blue one (factory metallic, not wrap), my old car was red, but blue is better than red (and both blue and red are better than orange)
Just revert it back to stock. Because you'll enjoy the new wrap for a few days and then think "hmmm I should've kept it stock". At least thats my opinion. As for the new colour, I'd go with battleship grey or solarbeam yellow.
Suggestions look like mid to late 2018 and will be 400bhp+ according to the main man at Mercedes. Should be nice, if not quite different. Torn between the A45 AMG or an RS3, there's just something I like about the A45 though lol
There are only 3 proper colours for an AMG; black, silver, or grey. My opinion, go with a grey that's close to the factory colour, and keep the wheels black. Classy, subtle, and unassuming. You already have a chrome purple R8 for lots of 'flash factor'

Get a nardo grey type of colour, but get a satin type of nardo grey. Will look prettig good...stealthy n menacing especially with the black parts

Try and get the Mercedes Solar Beam yellow colour and then de-chrome everything and make all the accents gloss black
