ughhhh the lady at O'Reilly's gave me the bulb # 9005 and it still didnt work. switched out my high beam bulbs & my low beam lights. STILL after all that my right side DRL still havent came on. really trying to avoid going to a dealership considering they told me they would charge me $90 just to take a look at it & not knowing how much more it would be for the parts. ill go and try this again but i was told it could possibly be a shortage in my DRL right side light wiring...

I have a 2013 Hyundai Accent and am trying to adjust the driver side headlight. On the passenger side it’s a 5/16 nut. Do you happen to know the size of the nut on the drivers side. I know its a different model of car but maybe they use the same size adjuster screws. Thanks for the help! 😊

Heads up, I just bought and installed this led light bulbs in my 2020 elantra SE and the little triangle warning light came right after starting the car. Didn't work as intended.
Honestly I wouldn't waste money on LEDs trust me I have and it's not worth it.... They arc or something it's a issue with all drl lights in the enantras
@@MCPHILL yeah I have halogen but I have the led strip eyebrow for my drls.. Mabye that’s why? I noticed there are models that have different headlight types. I only see a cap for my low/high beam lamp but when I look where you went it’s flat and there’s nothing there lol fustrating and confusing, hope you can help. Cheers

@@MCPHILL Yeah men, the thing is that they used to work but just three days after the installation one turned off. I think it could be a burned fusible. But the strange thing is that only the right DRL doesn't work, the left side works well.
I installed a set of 2357 they said it would be compatible with the 1157 and it’s giving me a warning light they do have the canbus in them should I just go return them and order a set of 1157 instead? I have a 2019 Hyundai Elantra.

I have the Sylvania Led bulbs also an update I went to my local Oreilly and got a set of the actual 1157 and put them in and it is still telling me the lights are out
So I just got the 7528 bulbs for my 2019 Elantra. They say on the packaging that they’re compatible as the 1157 and they didn’t have the true 1157 at the store so I tried these. I got home and put them in, and they fit, but they show up with error codes for the daytime running lights, and don’t light up in normal daytime mode. I have to put the car in parking light mode or turn the headlights on for them to work. I guess I have to take them back and get the true 1157’s which is quite disappointing. But just a heads up.
What is it that the 7528’s don’t work ? Put them in mine and won’t turn on. Found a pair of 1157 like the ones you have in the video , would it be worth grabbing or would you recommend the ones you linked in this thread ?
when replacing the drl on driver side unless you have really thin arms and hands you will need to remove one thing to gain access to the bulb and it has only 2 push pins holding it in place

You want the 9005 bulbs. They do hi and low beam. The bulbs I had they don't sell anymore. I would go on Amazon and filter by 4 starts and up for the review.

Thanks for the video, I swapped out my daughter’s DRLs today. Really easy with the help of your video, the bulbs are a tight fit! The first time I tried they were not seated properly, I remembered your video and and used a little more force and got them to work.
I did it! I didn't need to take it to my mechanic. Paid $7.99 for two bulbs at O'Reilly's. Super stoked!!!

You have to get canbus leds or add resistors to the harness

There should be another 12mm nut next to the bulb that adjust the beam left and right

How did you get the bulb out? I have tried multiple times and only managed to mange the end of the housing trying to get it out.
Use pliers or something to grab the plastic fin at the end and twist counter clockwise

More than likely it's metric, I think the Elantra was a 13 or 14mm

I have big fat hands, and I was able to do it. Had to unclip the top of the air filter housing, and got a little scraped, but I got it.
