Just a small suggestion, from someone who enjoys watching controller reviews: we always appreciate a short segment where you press all the buttons to allow the viewer how the controller sounds when its buttons are pressed, similar to how keyboards are typed on during keyboard videos to demonstrate how the keyboards sound. Doesn't have to be long, just a brief demonstration.
maybe a dumb question but can you connect it directly with the cable and play like a regular wired controller? I wasn't sure if it was only there for charging and you only can connect it with the dongle
How do you charge it though fully if you don’t want to plug it in to play wired? I see the USB c cable and usb, Sorry not too familiar haha. Great video though and you’ve definitely helped me figure out which controller I want to get!
The C model (The one this video is for) doesn't have Bluetooth capabilities. It connects by the dongle only(Not sure if you can connect a type c cable to it and make it wired tho)
@@JustCallMeMiked wow, I didn’t know that it only works with the dongle included :( When I saw it says wireless on the box, I really thought that it had Bluetooth capability so that I can use it with my steam deck while it’s connected to my TV….. it works plugged in but saying wireless is definitely a false advertising.
Hi! I got the same controller. I think I have a problem, when I'm charging it there's no red indicator light, and the white status led light blinks continuously. Manual says that the red led should stay solid while charging and only turn off when it's fully charged. How about yours? Does it behave the way the manual says it should??
@@NEON-JaiWeirdly enough I have the same one (also green) and it does light up red when charging and the ring at the front stays pulsing - dongle isn't connected (o.O) I charge using my regular phone charger.
Hey Jai im having problems connecting 2 of those controllers to me steam deck while docking. Im not sure if the deck is not recognising both od them at rhebsame time because they have the same name can you please help?
Can you explain how to connect this controller via Bluetooth to pair with the steam deck? I don’t know what to press in order for it to pop up as one of the devices that the steam deck can pair up with. any help with this would be greatly appreciated! However, when I plugged in the controller to the steam deck, it worked right away, and you can see the name 8BitDo. Just wish it could work wirelessly….
It works just fine on Android, provided you have a USB-A port or a dongle. For a phone or a tablet I'd probably get a bluetooth controller instead though. Personally I really like the SN30 Pro.

Got the exact same one on sale for $21 for my pi4 that's on the main living room TV and it works great.
That's a good deal!
Prime day deal 👍
Holy shit they actually give you a charging cable with the 2.4g version
Yeah, even color matched it with the receiver.

I was curious about that too, so I tried it and it works wired without the dongle as well. 😉👍

Bro is it plug and play to windows like an Xbox 360 and One? No need for controller configuration? Thanks
@@NEON-Jai Thanks for the fast reply bro. :)
Hey! Is this controller still good after a year of usage? No stick drift and etc, and is this controller goos for shooters like call of duty?
I'm still using it. No stick drift yet. But the right trigger has a little squeaky spring noise. Can't hear it when actually playing games.
Great video!
Did you connect it to the steam deck with the included dongle or does it work via Bluetooth?

@@NEON-Jai How about the light beside the usb c? Does it stay red while charging? Mine turns on for a few seconds, then it turns off.

Sorry, I only ever used one. So I don’t know what the issue could be.

This version doesn't have Bluetooth. There's a different Bluetooth version with the word in the name.
@@NEON-Jai Ah I understand! Thank you!
Is The rumble features works on steam?
Is the rumble that bad? Does it not enhance the experience at all?
It’s not bad, but it doesn’t add anything to the experience. Although, this can be very subjective. It could be just me.
Is this NSwitch compatible?
How come yours come with a dongle?
You probably bought the Bluetooth version, which doesn't come with dongle.
is still good now ?
Yeah, I still use it. Just recently with the new Suicide Squad game. My only complain is just the vibration motor. Battery life is pretty amazing.
Can it be used wired as well?
It does on Windows. Not sure about other devices.
Ayo 6:49 🤨. How big?
lol, sounded like I said weiner.
Android test?
