Thank you Mo for inviting me to this interview!
One note: at 8:58, I made a mistake by mixing up Emily and Amanda's works. Amanda(@Modernscienceproject) is the ceramic and glass sculptor, while Emily (@Sweetiebooshin) is the artist that made these lovely animal sculptures (shown in the video) with waste materials. Really sorry for the mix up.

Super interesting! Thank you so much for sharing. I wish I could have seen that before joining the Affordable Art Fair in Brussels (with a brand new, online gallery that also had no clue what they were doing 😆). Could have helped me avoid a few mistakes. Oh well... live and learn, I guess (one way or another 😜).

Great video..Thanks for sharing! I’m an artist based in Washington DC and I’m also considering working with Superfine. One thing for artists to consider when pricing their art for the fair is the return on investment. Superfine doesn’t take a percentage of the art you sell which is great, BUT they charge around ~$2,000 US dollars to rent an 8 foot booth to display your art so keep that in mind when figuring out your pricing strategy. $2K is the price I was quoted in 2022 so things may have changed and the fee might also vary depending on the city. Pricing aside, there are soft benefits to participating in fairs like networking with other artists, engaging with potential buyers and increased exposure. Hope this helps.

Hello, thank you so much for the informative video. I have checked their website and they are charging like $2500 for a booth. Superfine is great for networking with potential buyers but is it possible to get the invested money in return? If so, how much do I have to charge for each artwork? And how many pieces do you recommend to exhibit at Superfine as first time artist visiting the fair? Thank you so much. ❤
