    Martin Wehmer is an old friend of mine. We met in the 798 art district when he first arrived in China almost 17 years ago. In 2021, I visited his old studio and made two videos (link below). After two years on a Christmas day, we met again at his new studio for an update.

    German are very nice to listen to. They are often calm, down to earth and very respectful too. 😊

      Haha Germans are very nice to listen to when they are speaking English. When they are speaking German, my head hurts because I am so bad at it.

      @@VeryPrivateGallery 😀 yes exactly.. when they speak English they are really cool. Germany though.. it is really problematic for me too even to read a single word😁.

    Aside from the chunky application of paint, the style is still closer to illustration based on projected images-cropped and placed off-set in the space of the canvas. 🙏🏼😊

    798 art district in Beijing has more boutiques and resturants than art galleries these days.
