80 SYNGONIUM SPECIES | HERB STORIES
Syngonium is a genus of flowering plants in the family Araceae, native to tropical rain forests in southern Mexico, the West Indies, Central, and South America. They are woody vines growing to heights of 10-20 m or more in trees. They have leaves that change shape according to the plant's stage of growth, and adult leaf forms are often much more lobed than the juvenile forms usually seen on small house plants.
They require high humidity, including misting the leaves regularly, and good light, but not direct sunlight; they will tolerate low light levels. Water freely from spring to autumn, sparingly in winter. Feed regularly in spring and summer. If juvenile foliage is preferred, cut off all the climbing stems that develop - the plant will remain bushy, rather than climb, and the leaves will be more arrow-shaped. Repot every second spring. Propagation is by cuttings or air layering.

I'm very happy you made this video!! I really was looking for someone who FINALLY tries to make sense of all the different syngoniums!
I did find some mistakes however and just wanted to show them. For example are Grey ghost and green splash the same species - same goes for mojito and mottled and for neon pink, neon robusta, pink and coral. The picture of the pink allusion is also a neon robusta/pink/however you wanna call it (not sure if there actually is a pink allusion). Your pink spot was the wrong picture - it normally is light pink with pinker spots, yours is green.
I don't want to crizisize your work, but I thought this would be important.
I learned about some new ones from your video! Thank you!

I agree, I also think it would be helpful to include the latin names along with the common names to help people looking for specific varieties. Like a frosted heart is also called Syngonium Macrophyllum. At some nurseries you might not find the colloquial name but everyone agrees on the latin names. Great video

Syngoniums are so easy to care. They can live in different kind of environments. Different lights. I just love 💘its. 💘 but it's hard to find in a different colors. I like Syngoniums more than Aglaonemas. Aglaonemas easier to got gungus. So far my Syngoniums didn't get fungus yet that's why I like Syngoniums more and they're cheaper.
