I went to that village when the road opened in 91 . There is a path down to the sea where the villagers used to have contact with the rest of Tenerife. I was told it was an old pirate village, the only way in and out was that well trodden path . There is a strange eerie silence in the whole valley there from what I remember. It all looks as beautiful as ever. Thank you for taking us with you .
Love riding in the Canaries me! If you get a chance to take the ferry to Gran Canaria the riding in the canyons in the middle of the island are stunning (think Grand Canyon) - completely different to Tenerife.....loving the vids Freddie and Monica, keep 'em coming!
Good to see you are also enjoying this channel Andy, we came in as they were towing their bike behind a Fiat 500 from England. On their previous vid I mentioned about Gran Canaria, probably some of the most spectacular riding anywhere! GC200 West cost road 😍😍
The drive to Masca is great fun, with amazing views. The village is beautiful. The view from the café is fantastic. I first went there is 1991, and again in 1998. The road looks a lot safer today.,
Thank you guys for showing our beautiful land to the world ☺️ Just a correction there. Teide is 3715mt. Highest “mountain” in Spain and one of Europe’s highest volcanos. Keep the good work and maybe we’ll see each other on the road!
What a great video, some stunning views!! Love how enthusiastic you are Freddie!! Awesome camera skills from Monika. Keep these great videos coming you pair!!
Great filming. Love your enthusiasm and interest in history. Back in the 70 s when I started learning Spanish we had a Spanish assistant from Tenerife. He spoke of these blond blue eyed people as the original inhabitants. When I first went to Tenerife in 1989 I was shocked too find only tourists and Mediterranean people. So good to hear this again. As you drive along some of these houses remind me of South America. Amazing.
I live in Tenerife for 2 years now and saw your videos on youtube this week and absolutely love them. Its such a joy to watch them. Cant wait to see the next. X
I seriously enjoyed this video and the facts about Tenerife. The presentation, music and video is on point. I could watch more content like this all the time. Very entertaining. 🤘🏼🤓
Although I've never been to Tenerife, it looks like you've picked a stunning place to relocate to. Great video....and history lesson👍. Have fun you two. 👍
Another fun and informative video! As someone who spends most of his day behind a desk and yearning to reclaim the motorbikes I sold 30 years ago, I enjoy and am inspired by your and Monika’s travels and lifestyle. I hope to pursue the same before Father Time catches up to me. Keep them coming!
Well done to you guys again. Love the roads and want to take by bike over there now. 👌 Can't wait for the next installment of biking heaven and stunning scenery.
SO many more to come, be care on those twisties! Love it and what could be better than a cold Fanta on the way back to the aprtment...SO fallllippin jealous!!!!!
I'm from Tenerife. I found the video of La Laguna and I started to watch all of your videos here. I really appreciate how you explain everything. I'm in love with English, so listening to you talking about my island is wonderful. I hope you are having a good time here!!
Started following you both about 2 months ago I’ve got to say your energy and enthusiasm is wonderful Freddie, I wish you much love and happiness and great success with your YT channel, thanks for keeping us folk here in the wet crappy damp grey UK entertained, take care and stay safe 😎🇬🇧💞 both of you
Brilliant Freddie and Monica, you’ve seen more of Tenerife in a week than some people see in years of going, somehow when travelling on a motorcycle it makes us feel like a local rather than a tourist. These vlogs are definitely re lighting our travel bug 👍
Fascinating history. Stunning views and topography. Beautifully shot and presented. Really liked the shadow shot on the bike revealing Monika's presence of sorts. Guys I love your music selections, some serious gems even on the trip down in part 1 and part 2. I like the regular car references too, the 80's Mercedes, the Toyota Land Cruiser, the Nissan Patrol, the Renault 5, the Citroen Van etc. This video was very enjoyable...thanks for taking us along. 😎
Thank you for making this video, my wife and I recently visited Tenerife and we rode this route because of you. It really is as stunning as it looks here. 👍😎
Hiya guys!! Thank you so much for putting your time out to make these amazing videos for us its almost like we are out there with you 👍 keep up the good work guy's look forward to the next one ride safe 👍 👍 👍
As always a good video, It honors you and a Spaniard thanks you for doing a little research on the history of the Canary Islands. A small detail that I have to correct for you Teide measures 3718 meters.
We went to Tenerife (for the first time) in 2000 on honeymoon and stayed in Los Chrristianos. Having forgotten my driving licence my new wife had to drive the rental Corsa. Having navigated around the island and got stuck in torrential rain I noticed a small road back which eventually passed Masca . We had to turn off the AC to get the little Corsa to go up the steepest parts Masca was still very quiet and not commercially developed. We have returned a number of times .Recommend the zoo park ( sorry if you already know it). Enjoy your vids very much.
Your channel just popped up for me to check out. The RUclips algorithm is obviously working as your content is amazing and the style you do it in is beautiful. You’ve got me thinking of an epic road trip now 😀. All the best and you’ve another sub from me.
Another awesome inspirational video, very interesting story about the stone age tall folk 😀 you don't get any of that on other youtube motorcycling video's. The scenery looks breath taking and the cinematography and music are fantastic. Top job Monika. Look forward to seeing more content from Tenerife.
Always waiting in anticipation to watch your videos, amazing blend of different landscapes, bikers heaven,!!!!!! Great to see so many bikes, as I expected to more maxi scooters etc stay safe the two of you, looking forward to your next outing
Freddie & Monica wow absolutely stunning and the roads so quite and the place so clean no empty pop cans strewn all over the place look forward to next episode stay safe you two.
This is the first trip I did with my partner, now mother of my daughter, 5 years ago. We had lunch in that restaurant actually. Sweet memories came back while watching the video. Cheers
The video work is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Your conversation is second to none. I especially enjoy that you're not riding a gargantuan GS1200 or the like. And you're doing it two-up. Brilliant.
Just subscribed, you take me back to holidays in Tenerife, before covid -19 and to happier times. You are great medicine for those who have suffered in the pandemic.
Lovely place. It reminds me of Hawaii. We were in Masca on the 20th of October 2021. Not too busy, but definitely more people than when Monica and you were there.
Wow, looks like a great place to explore on two wheels! Hot country means ALWAYS carry water.....plus one extra just in case! Keep up the great work guys
Again sweet production. Not too much of any one thing. Moni does a great job on the Edits. Freddie your enthusiasm is great. I relax in the evening with a glass of Rum with Fred and Moni, what's next👍
Hi Freddie I started watching your vlogs on Sunday 24/10 and have watched all eps up to this one so far and love it. What a journey from the uk. I know this as I have lived in Australia since 2007 originally from Scotland. Just to let you know you have another subscriber today.
Tenerife on my wish list.... videos are fab, well thought out, entertaining, i've recommended so many people to watch your stuff. Am just starting my own you tube journey, Loving it all, keep up the good work.
Have to disappoint you Freddie, but those are not Aloe vera plants, so no skin soothing gel for you and Monica. BUT they ARE Agave americana from which you can distill Tequila, so all is not lost. Hurrah!
A great way to see the island from a sofa! I only looked around the northern end but now I'll go back to tour on the R E Himalayan. If you decide to leg it up Teide, beware ... it's actually 3700 metres! Thanks for the ride. Keep safe.
A lovely way to end the day here in a wet and windy UK! You timed your departure perfectly!! 😂 Looks absolutely stunning guys. Think the mountain/volcano you point out is over 12,000ft so even higher than you said! Ride safe…👍🏻👌🏻😎
Great video. Looks similar to Crete where i come from. The plants you showed around 9min is not aloe Vera but agave Americana. Is in the same plant family but they have totally different use. And also big difference size wise. Anyway enjoy your ride and if you come to Crete let me know. I also have a triumph scrambler 😉and I know all the good roads.
Youre a star Freddie, I was lucky enough to visit Masca 5 years ago however I cycled up from Masca to Santiago Del Teide. Hardest thing I have ever done on a push bike including cycling up to Teide itself. I had 40 miles and a lot of climbing in my legs by the time i hit the bottom of the climb out of Masca, it is so steep that if you stop you wouldnt get going again therefore I was not able to fully appreciate until now. Thanks
Tenerife is an amazing place, there is so much more to it than the holiday resorts in the South .It truly is a paradise .
Oh wow!!! I'm saving this comment Gus, and I will walk this path and record it. Thanks you!
@@FreddieDobbs Not sure if paths open at moment ,we went 2019 and path to sea was closed off
Love riding in the Canaries me! If you get a chance to take the ferry to Gran Canaria the riding in the canyons in the middle of the island are stunning (think Grand Canyon) - completely different to Tenerife.....loving the vids Freddie and Monica, keep 'em coming!
Good to see you’ve got sucked into this channel as well Andy 👍
Really appreciate it, and 100% we'll go over to GC- I didn't know it'd be so different!
Good to see you are also enjoying this channel Andy, we came in as they were towing their bike behind a Fiat 500 from England. On their previous vid I mentioned about Gran Canaria, probably some of the most spectacular riding anywhere! GC200 West cost road 😍😍
Good to see you’re enjoying the vids TMF! Perhaps you and Richy V should visit Freddie and Monica and do a vlog.
The drive to Masca is great fun, with amazing views. The village is beautiful. The view from the café is fantastic. I first went there is 1991, and again in 1998. The road looks a lot safer today.,

Freddie, Monica, your new stomping ground is absolutely beautiful ! Enjoy every day ! Amazing , Freddie you are correct, breathtaking views.

Great filming. Love your enthusiasm and interest in history.

There are loads of cyclists in Tenerife, but I only saw one doing the Masca ascent- I honestly have no idea how he did it!!!
Thanks Stuart🙂
