One of many things I love about this is the fact that not only does Ricky obviously have a huge love for dogs but also he is well against animal cruelty and is evidently working hard to stop animal cruelty aswell as pressing for animals not to be used in chemical product testing etc... This trailer heals the heart and hurts the soul. At this point, you've come to know Tony and the hard times he's gone through. It's good to see him happy for once, even just by relying on Brandy's company. But you've also come to know the very bitter end of the many stories told by the series so far, and deep down, whether you like it or not, you KNOW what's (probably) gonna happen.
This is truly visionary. He's jettisoned all the boring human characters to make the third and final season focus only on Tony and his one true friend. About 5-6 hours of Tony and his dog, spread out over a dozen episodes. A daring move, soon to be understood as a cultural touchstone.
I never thought much of Ricky Gervais until I watched this program, he is so good I’ll overlook the rest of his flaws and thank him for teaching me so much about my grief.

Now I hade just finishen the first season of "Derek" and in every episode I am stroke by it's beautiful Comedy and the incredible beautiful scenario of the ordinary People in the ordinary reality. It hits me again and again. I am crying at every episode. Such brearhtaking beauty, heartwarming and real.
