He’s talked about his distaste for cancel culture before, but he’s definitely not immune to it. The Golden Globes could stop hosting him because people found him too objectionable or offensive, and people could boycott his movies and shows as well. Essentially, they don’t care that he doesn’t care.

I'am from France and he is my favorite hummorist one of last (maybe the last) and the best who don't fear to make a joke. I Love it.
There's still a lot of comedians like that. Jimmy Carr is worth checking out if you're unfamiliar with him, though his humour tends to be darker and more messed up, and as such not everyone's cup of tea, but he's absolutely hilarious.

Seriously, British humor has historically been absurdist. Slapstick, men in women's clothing, over-the-top situations. The biting sarcastic stuff is recent, and lifted from other sources. You can get sued for saying things like that in the UK.
