Problem is that Timothy Tyson the author was caught lying about Carolyn Bryant, but she never recanted and never got caught lying. Emmett Till actually did assault her. Let me clue you in on a few things these media shills will not discuss:
Till's father was executed by the US military during WW2 for rape and murder while stationed in in Italy. He had a history of abusing women including Till's mother.
Till himself was a braggart and used to brag to his buddies in Chicago that he had a white girlfriend (flashing a picture in a wallet - which may have been the sample picture that came with it and not anyone he actually knew). He got into some sort of trouble in Chicago which lead his mother to send him to family back in the south hoping the relatives would straighten him out. He also had a habit of acting the same there as he did in Chicago and locals didn't appreciate that (neither black nor white).
Bryant and her then husband owned a general store which catered to local black sharecroppers. They lived in a back room of the building. Whenever her husband took a truck driving job (for extra money) he always had her stay with relatives of his until he returned. He was worried for her safety whenever he was away.
Till did a whole lot more than "whistle" at Bryant. He pretended to buy candy at the store, jumped the counter and pulled her close to him and whispered in her ear that he'd [f-word] white women before and he'd be glad to offer her his affections. This disturbed her greatly and she ran into the back room. Till's family, who were waiting outside, grabbed him and told him to get out ASAP. Essentially he committed sexual battery and could bring trouble to them. When Bryant's husband returned, he noticed his wife was upset at what had happened and tried to get the story out of her. She reluctantly did so, and the rest is history (although it's often forgotten that Bryant's husband had two black accomplices to do the deed to Till but no one ever mentions that). Till's mother has been the grandmommy to all black moms ever since - stating how her son was a good boy and was turning his life around. Poor Carolyn Bryant got death threats and harassment from people who know nothing of the real story. I believe she didn't want Till dead, by my research, she seemed like a meek and mild woman who never wanted any kind of trouble or unwanted attention. I recommend you read her autobiography which was released several months ago - she goes into great detail about this. She was not evil by any stretch. Your teachers (and media) LIED to you!

In this case the victim, scared for her life instead of locking herself in the back room, walked right through the middle of all people present there, went to her truck and got a gun out. Questions: 1) That gun was to protect herself or to threaten the boys with? 2) How did her husband find out? Did she tell him? I wonder what she told her husband. 3) Could she have saved the boy's life? Why didn't she? She is as guilty as the other two. The boy's death was her doing. But I am amazed how modern day Mississippi protected her and didn't do poop. This murder is on Mississippi authorities too just as well.
