    Great review as usual! I've put about 8 days on this board this season and really liking it the more I put it through the paces. When mid-turn, driving more energy into the tail really takes the turn up a notch. I keep thinking of the immortal words of Nigel Tufnel when turning this board, especially when driving hard off of the tail "if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
    Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.
    Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly." I'm finding myself reaching for this board more and more. The conditions I haven't had it in is the really deep stuff..... Thanks again and keep the reviews coming.

    Out of the 30+ boards I’ve ridden, the ride peace seeker is hands down the most responsive and fun board I have ridden. It surprisingly has an insane amount of pop and it’s really stable at high speeds. 9.9/10 board, I just wish it held a carve as good as the Never Summer Valhalla.

    Looking for some help like many others but doesn't seem like anyone else has comparable stats. 5'7" 150 lbs size 11 boot. I've been daily driving a gremlin 155 waist width is 264, other boards are a lib round nose fish with a waist with of 256, medium warpig waist width is about 260mm
    Should i play it safe and go with the 151? The 147 really intrigues me on my rider weight stats im just nervous of damn toe drag. Its the 😈. Love your content and stoked to hear what ya think. E-🦸‍♂️

      @thegoodridesnow  5 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks! So if you have a Medium (151) Warpig thats 26.5cm waist and its pretty wide over the inserts. Its closer to the 154 excavator width wise so if you want a quicker turning ride go 150 and it should be drag free. Dont go 146. If you want to get into it more hit me up here. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/

    Thanks for the review! For 190lbs, 5’10, US Men’s 8, what size do you recommend for groomer riding? Dong really go super fast, but want a turny, short, tight carver. Thanks in advance!

    • @thegoodridesnow
      @thegoodridesnow  Год назад

      Really depends on what make/model/size board you ride now and how you like it. 151 is better for your weight and 147 for your boots. It's a very easy board to turn and I had no issues with the 151 with size 9's 185-190lbs at 5'10". Felt pretty easy to turn. If you want to ride pow and see better conditions this is the call. 147 will be a lot easier to control but it might feel a good bit smaller. I'd only go for this if you see a lot of uneven crowded snow. It will maneuver super quick there.

    Great review! How much overhang was there on the 151 with size 9 US boots? I’m 5’10” 185 with size 9 but leaning towards the 155 to really lay it over on edge without any heel or toe drag.

    • @thegoodridesnow
      @thegoodridesnow  Год назад +1

      little to no overhang with the 151. I could scratch my nips with this and I'm literally the same specs as you. If you want more board/speed/carving power you could do the 155 too.

      @@thegoodridesnow I currently ride a 2021 rossignol sawblade 151cm that I primarily use for park but I do ride downhill groomers and like to do big carves as I’m primarily a surfer and looking for a board for long drawn out carves, tree runs and something a little better in powder than my current board because riding my board in powder is not fun on the legs.

      Go 147 then but this isn't really for long drawn out carves. It's more of a circle carver that always needs to be turning. If you are ok with that then give it a go. However if you want other suggestions hit me up here. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/

    Is the peace seeker close to a hovercraft? Loved my hovercraft for Colorado pow days, looking for something similar

    • @thegoodridesnow
      @thegoodridesnow  Месяц назад +1

      No. Peace seeker has a very tight radius sidecut that always needs to be turning. The Hovercraft is the opposite and loves to go straight.

    Hey guys great review, was wondering if you could help me out with some advice. Im pretty much banging my head on the wall, and not sure where to turn. I am Looking to purchase the Ride peace seeker 151 (185 pounds) to pair up with a pair of Union Atlas pro, but not too sure if I should go for a medium or large size binding. I have a pair of 10.5 us Burton SLX's (feel I can drop to a 10) and have been using L size bindings on my other boards, just worried that the peace seeker is a little tight on the body/afraid of toe drag.
    Anyone have any insight on this?

      Thanks! I think you will be fine with 10.5's/185lbs on the Peace Seeker 151 and shouldn't have any toe/heel drag. It's a pretty wide little ride.

    How does the peaceseeker ride on midwest ice?

    • @thegoodridesnow
      @thegoodridesnow  9 месяцев назад +1

      It's not a hard snow specialist but it can hang there. If you want better grip look for boards like the YES Hybrid, Gnu Gremlin, YES Optimistic and the Lib Tech Orca that all grip very well in hard snow.
