Lebanon is so beautiful! I’ve been there 5 times. My grandpa owns an apartment in a city called Bhamdoun, about 27.4 km southeast (38-40 minutes) from Beirut. Bhamdoun is better than Beirut, ‘cause the weather in Bhamdoun is beautiful, it’s not even hot, it’s actually very gorgeous in the summer but in the winter, of course it gets very very cold with snow. Also, it’s a mountainous area ‘cause it’s surrounded by mountains (kind of like Colorado). Beirut, on the other hand, is very hot (though not as hot as Kuwait) and it’s right by the beach. Lebanon is really fascinating as the most diverse country in terms of history, culture and religion in the Middle East. I can't get enough of Lebanese folk music/dance like the Dabke, and I'm a big fan Najwa Karam, Fares Karam (are they related?) and many others. Beautiful place, beautiful people. Lebanon is so beautiful! I’ve been there 5 times. My grandpa owns an apartment in a city called Bhamdoun, about 27.4 km southeast (38-40 minutes) from Beirut. Bhamdoun is better than Beirut, ‘cause the weather in Bhamdoun is beautiful, it’s not even hot, it’s actually very gorgeous in the summer but in the winter, of course it gets very very cold with snow. Also, it’s a mountainous area ‘cause it’s surrounded by mountains (kind of like Colorado). Beirut, on the other hand, is very hot (though not as hot as Kuwait) and it’s right by the beach.
