I absolutely love the middle east. So much to see and know and learn, so much history. Some of the oldest historical findings come from the Middle east and north Africa. The language is so interesting. Im utterly fascinated with this region and would love to learn to speak Arabic. One day InshaAllah
I’ve been to Egypt twice. I haven’t visited it in a long time. I didn’t visit Cairo or Giza where the pyramids are, I visited Sharm El-Sheikh. It has a really beautiful beach. Nevertheless, I learned about Ancient Egypt back in high school and even in college and it was quite interesting. Here in Kuwait, there are a lot of Egyptians. Mostly work in barber shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and other places. God bless Egypt! 🇪🇬❤️🇰🇼
If you really want to convert, then you should visit an imam in a mosque! For now: Welcome soon and hope we all will meet together in paradise with the classical Arabic as the language!
Egypt is shown on the map without Sinai 0:17 🤔 just wanted to correct that. Egypt's borders are spread in Asia till the second branch of the red sea. This is called Sinai and it's part of Egypt.
Take care..I felt the same 35 years ago, left America and stayed 16 years. After trying to readjust to America for another decade, I gave up and returned to Egypt where I plan to stay as it is awesome!!!
Aww thank you for doing Egypt! 🇪🇬 I can see the love and respect you have for this beautiful nation. Most importantly you mentioned the Coptic people who have played a huge role in Egypt’s past and present history! Long live Egypt!💖💖💖
I was just telling a Syrian friend that when Lebanese and Syrian ppl try to speak the Egyptian dialect, they sound like French ppl trying to speak English But that's cute 😊 Just note that the picture you put for Al-Azhar University is rather for Amr Ibn Al Aas mosque.. Thank you, Mark for your vid
True, but he mentioned the best of Egypt golden age (1940s to 1970s). Even Amr Diab himself don't match them. No one can match any one who still selling entire albums literally decades after his/her death (like in case of Um Kolthom and Abdel Halem Hafez).
I love how you summed up a lot of interesting history, thank you for making such a great video on my country. Sending much much love to beautiful Lebanon.

こんにちは thank you so much for all the great videos you make for us. I love learning culture and history and I found this video extra useful because I'm in the middle of playing assassin's creed Origins. The first video i saw of you was about Libanon, it caught my attention because my dad was a UN soldier in Libanon and he always speaks so warm about the country and its people. After I watched that video I'm hooked on your channel! 😊 Greetings from Norway!
Fantastic mark, loved all your episodes covering arab countries , waiting for the Sudan episode, I'm Egyptian living in Australia, missing family and food in Egypt, really thanks for your effort
A simple note on the title of the video : we are not Arabs There's a difference between Arabs and Egyptians We're just influenced by Arab culture All the invasions that Egypt has experienced over millennia, including the Arab invasion, do not seem to account for more than 15% of modern Egyptians' ancestry, so Egyptians are not genetically Arabs, but we maybe so culturally and linguistically
Not all of us have Arab ethnicities but we're still considered Arabs because we speak Arabic, culturally Arabs too and we have Sinai in the Middle East so just because our ethnicities ain't Arab doesn't mean we aren't Arabs :).
