LOL 🤣 Unfortunately, I could not get the clutch to reset, the inner spring fingers would not go into the holes on 1/3rd of the clutch and I wound up breaking one of the forks in the process of releasing the lock by not counting. The company did refund the money and I put the original forks back in after a second replacement set had a bad fork. I got a stand alone clutch, and after the first replacement fork issue, I was able to reset the clutch fully like it should and finally got the job done. My wife said the car shifts better now than after the dealer replaced it two times, so must have done something right.
@@REVNUMANEWBERN I "thought" they were new, they were "refurbished", only the throwout was new. I wound up using the originals after cleaning and lubing them. Car runs better than the past two clutch replacements the dealer did, Happy wife, happy life.
Great video, appreciate your time. The digits on the counter springs In the kit I bought are all the same number, on all four. None of those numbers match any of the numbers on the lever actuators . Will this work, or what should I do? I bought it on Amazon. Thank you so much and really glad you had the torque specs.
@@dealerauctionnightmare4689 yes but when you turn it counter clock wise 12 times after that how many times do you turn it clock wise. Or do you just hold the key and turn it until you don’t feel tension on it?
@@carloschataing1006 doesn't matter what tools you use, as long as it gets the job done. The tool kit listed uninstalls/installs clutch and resets a seasoned clutch if it's within the reset specifications.

They used to supply a USB drive inside a new clutch kit. That's where I got these from.

What type of the grease that youput on the input shafts?
just use a light high temp grease. I have used a light coating of wheel bearing grease.
Olive oil, Crisco, Mrs. Butterworth, ANYTHING works. Its just to slide things easier, use a minimal amount.

So after you turn it counter clockwise 12 times you turn it clock wise 10 times and that locks it?
Turning it counterclockwise unlocks the clutch. You can't relock the clutch without special tools.

@@elcocho206 Yes, release it slowly. It's under spring tension for returning. It will stop automatically.
