It's probably the best addition to the doom roster since the arachnotron. I personally want them to be buffed for the next game, but the way you fight them fits so well, you can pair it with any other demon/group of demons in Eternal and have a good fight.

In the book of seraphs from the ancient gods, Hell is revealed to be the corrupted remains of a realm named Jekkad in their pursuit of immortality. Imps are the most populous demons of hell and personally, I see Archvile as “elder” imps in hierarchy. It is also notable that Archviles have fire in their body similar to Barons. These “fire bodies” are a sign of evolution within the demon hierarchy. Then there are the Summoners who have biological similarities to Imps who resemble the Makyrs in a way such as the Makyr angels engraved into Sentinel structures. For the people of Jekkad to achieve immortality, they had to be like the Makyrs and could be proven true on how the Summoners become Spirits after death in a sort of afterlife. A limited extension to their mortality. There’s also the similarities between the Prowler and the final boss of the ancient gods. Spoilers below. Then there’s the final boss of the ancient gods. Spoilers below. Samur’s transmutation severely warped his biology and gains new abilities. These abilities resemble those of the Prowlers, shooting purple bolts and teleporting with purple streaks. Samur also reveals a new purple body as a part of his transmutation. If Prowlers descended from Imps who descended from the original populous of Jekkad who descended from the Makyrs, are Prowlers transmutated Imps? The ending also raises a question on this topic. The dark lord is from Jekkad (a demigod created by The Father to rule over Jekkad) and yet looks incredibly human compared to the other demons that I’ve speculated to be descendants of Jekkad. My best guess is Hell energy exposure warping their appearance from that of The Father (The Father only appears in silhouette but has an undeniably human stature, likely implying that Doom’s universe uses the idea of “humans made open God’s image”). On a bonus note, the framing of Maligog in the Blood Swamps make it seem like he’s a native to Hell so Titans are likely native to Hell rather than an invaded species so the Icon of Sin’s similarities to other Titans (The Icon is very different in appearance when compared to other Titans) and lesser demons like tyrants likely make the Icon the common ancestor of the “horned demons” (Barons, Hunters, and the ancient demons from the Story of The Sentinels, Fuel the Eternal Flame, and the cover art of the first Doom). Thanks for watching man!
I would love to see a video where are you talk about the rancor from Star Wars and it’s physiology love your videos by the way
That may be a possibility!
These demon are my favorite, I which more lore was revealed about them
Maaan ive fallen in love with your videos dude! Awesome shit
Is it me or does the Doom Hunter’s voice somewhat sounds like the narrator of the Slayer’s Testament in Doom 2016
That's the dark lord tho
Aka the origin as he is listed
I would *LOVE* to fight a large variant Aggadon Hunter with its legs intact. Like the size of the one on the "Goroth" in game album cover and in Cultist Base chained up on the 4 arm cross thing that becomes a bridge
4:04 obviously they need to have small super heavy, making me miss shots while it showers me with its many attacks.
They appear to be in the *Doom: The dark ages* trailer.
I like to think that the Cultist Base is really just the Doom Slayer's version of a Buld-a-Bear Workshop and he's customizing a new toy to play with
"You cannot save this world"
"AND I SAID, BIIIIIIIITCH. IM THE MAN OF THE HOUSE"
Love seeing you branching into SCPs. I've written a few myself!
Nice! What numbers?

Roanoke, i suggest you try S.T.A.L.K.E.R mutant morphology
Yo all I’m saying imagine a video with Midnight and and Roanoke!! You could get midnight to do the lore and background and then Roanoke in the anatomy and stuff!!
Cool. Thanks for the mention on your alternate channel. I'll definitely wanna check it out.
Almost 4 thousand subs, huh? Well tbh you deserve much much more, honestly your channel is pure quality. But yeah good channels take way longer to get recognized, compared to easy clickbaity ones.
Keep up the amazing work, and also being as nice as you are since that makes it even better, and cheers from Brazil dude !
Hey Roanoke loved the vid and I've been checking out the reading channel and ive got some tips. When I tried to get into reading creepypastas I listened to a lot of them on youtube and I found it easy to get pointers from them maybe you could find it useful.
Not a bad idea actually, check out the newest one and let me know what you thought because I sort of did that to add more inflection
Dont think I've every been this early. Absolutely love the videos man
Thanks bro and welcome to the early squad!
Can't wait for your explanation about the rib bone in Aracnatron brain
I like how most of your other videos are just talking about how horrifying the creatures are but and in this video it's just like "you're talking an awful lot of smack for someone who's within ripping and tearing distance."
Oh, I just realized you did both the videos related to Doom you mentioned in the WOW live stream.
They need to make this demon playable in battle mode
I wish I saw this when it came out, I had just got out of class. I'll just watch this in my next one anyways
I was hoping that this would have theoried tied into Quake's Strogg.
Doom Hunter is the biggest oddity in the roaster and fits a lot more in line with Strogg units.
For all I know the reason the hunters were so deadly to the knight sentinels was their speed velocity and durability but honestly at this point it seems they are more used as a last ditch weapon against the slayer because they could maybe be highly customizable being more or less a living tank but the Hell Priest didn’t really get past the demo model because of loosing his head. At least that’s a head cannon I like to think of (pun not intended)
Great video, always found them interesting, the whole base itself actually.
Btw Tyrants are ugly af
