once i finish my current grounded run i just need to start a new game with every difficulty setting on grounded except for resources because having ammo on this difficulty makes combat so much fun

Infinite ammo. It's in gameplay modifiers I believe. I don't know for sure but since he has no weapon hud I'm assuming he's using that. Can't even see how much ammo he has.

As much as I despise Abby, I want to play part 3. She's somewhat tolerable now that she has a second chance to do things right with Lev, like Joel had with Ellie. But even if I didn't, holy hell, I don't know any other single player games I've gone through repeatedly more than this game. The devs really fu**ing outdid themselves here!
