- tomscott.com - / tomscott - Here's the behind-the-scenes video from Chernobyl week, where Paul (@cr3) and I answer how we got here, and what it's like -- while you see all the B-roll footage that I couldn't fit into the regular videos!
"Tom is timeless"- I really don't know if he's 19 or 40.
I respect the urgency of Tom stopping everything and hushedly going “cat! Cat! There’s a cat!”
Ok, Pripyat having better internet than I do is just depressing.
Have always wanted to visit Chernobyl. Did a project on it when I was at school; have always been fascinated. Sadly, watching this in March 2022, it doesn't seem likely that I'll visit any time soon. Thoughts are with Ukraine.

It's generally believed that radioactive cats have 18 half lives.
It's true then. Chernobyl cats have four legs. How odd.

When the internet speeds in Chernobyl are better than yours.... =[
I really want to imagine Tom and Paul following the cat around for at least 10 minutes getting B-roll and watching the adventures of Chernobyl Cat.
"That cat looks totally unaffected by the radiation"
"Genuine Chernobyl cat"
-Tom: "Genuine Chernobyl cat"
Interviewer: So, what's it like living in Chernobyl?
I LOVE the "cat - CAT! Cat cat - genuine Chernobyl cat!" moment in the end! And the little squeak. That was adorable.

To people thinking the cat sounds weird:
I want to know more about that cat.
2 beers for £1?! Be right back just booking a flight
You try speaking ukrainian without an accent and then blame the cat.
