Oakland Coliseum was one of the BEST places for baseball when it was packed like this & the team was actually good & competitive. It surely is the end of an era for baseball in Oakland.
If MLB Network ever decided to do some brand new versions of 'Baseball's Seasons' 2024 would have a LOT to unpack. It sure was one heck of a season for baseball.
Something tells me we’re going to see a lot a lot a lot of home runs i’m so ready for the move to Sacramento. And I also can’t wait for the show to put it in. Heck I don’t even wanna wait a year. I just want them to do it now. Let’s do this
Thank you, Oakland for all the sports all the championships and just thank you for everything celebrate one last time come on 😭😭😭😭😭😭Thanks for the high school memories, especially the basketball ones even though I was cheering for LeBron and Cleveland so long and good night, Oakland Thank you for everything but this time this one great city /baby is officially probably gone from sports forever see ya
2019 Warriors lose NBA finals game six to raptors . Last game at Oracle Arena. 2020. Raiders lose the last game that Colosseum. 2024 athletics win last game at Colosseum. Sad but perfect ending
It is a Shakespearean tragedy what’s going on with Oakland baseball. John Fisher took a once proud baseball franchise and not only ran them to the ground but to the core of the earth. He didn’t think about the fans, the workers at the Coliseum, the broadcasters, and employees. He only thought of money and himself. I’ve been a lifelong Browns fan born after the move, but it still pisses me off to this day. Even if they get a team again, they’ll feel the effects for decades to come. Like Art Modell, Fisher burned all bridges by backstabbing an entire city and numerous generations of fans. There is a special place in baseball hell for guys like John Fisher
John Fisher is not the only one. The blame must go to Steve Schott, Ken Hoffman, the City of Oakland, and Alameda County governments for creating this mess since 1995.
Thank you for letting me know. As usual, they were blocked because of background music in commercials. I've filed appeals on both of them ... Unlike most blocks, these were partially blocked in certain territories. One of the territories was the US. Those are harder for me to spot because I have a lot of videos partially blocked only in Russia.
So, it looks like the radio broadcasts of the 2002 Angels vs Twins series and Game 7 of the 2002 World Series are in RUclips jail. Edit:The TV broadcasts you had of Game 5 and 6 of the 2002 World Series are also in jail it seems. So it looks like SESAC, a big music publisher didn't renew their extension with RUclips as of now, so that's why some of your stuff is in jail.
@@StephensBaseballArchives Awesome! Thanks! I noticed Game 7 is back up, and I guess it's kinda funny, but Game 3 of the Twins/Angels series is the only one not available for the TV Broadcasts. However, Game 3 of the Radio Broadcasts is now the only one available.
When I started filing appeals this morning, YT made them public again pending appeal. It may be due to the videos being online for so long. I suspect the music publisher will have a ton of appeals in their email, if they even bother to process them. Most don't.
@StephensBaseballArchives Yeah, I noticed that everything except Radio Broadcast of Game 7 is basically back for now. I think the public outcry on social media will probably get RUclips and the label to get back to the negotiation table, because their license expiring led to the removal of millions of songs. Who knows how many other videos from content creators it affected
I looked at SESAC's website. They demand a license for any and all, e.g. "if you play our client's music in your business ..." I turn on the radio in my cubicle, I'm supposed to pay SESAC?! They can f*** themselves.
Yeah, in all, over 32 Angels' games are in YT jail, as are about 35 WS games at the moment. Obviously, you began appealing all of those cases. And not just you, but a lot of others as well, whether they're baseball games or not.
Sigh, I'll have to start working down the list ... It seems to me rather ridiculous, because 99% of the time the claimants never respond and the claim expires.
@@StephensBaseballArchives Well, in this case, it's because of the YT/SESAC dispute, that led to thousands of videos w/SESAC content blocked in just the USA. (Not just on your page, but on many others). A deal was reached yesterday afternoon, and thus, in the next day or two, everything will be restored. At least 6 of the blocked WS games is back as of 7am PT this morning for evidence. Let's hope everyone of them returns.
Thanks for posting this 😊
I was there. Very emotional day!

Thank you for this. 38 Years I've gone to A's games, and this move is like a giant kick in the crotch.

Thank you for the details. I'm two-thirds of the way through my videos; so far, all the blocks are Russia and/or Belarus.
@StephensBaseballArchives Not a surprise w/Russia. They have no sense of humor.
@@StephensBaseballArchives are you planning on recording the 2024 World Series?
Good riddance...livin' in the past, now the future will be better.
