20 years ago P.U.C.O. caught me with 52 ton of sand on a tri-axle dump. Ticket $2,500 some company driver that hauled out of that pit call P.U.C.O on me like they needed the help in Oh. I heard that driver dropped a loaded trailer on a truck stop lot after he stopped there to get a drink.

You are a PRO man, narrow lanes mean nothing to you. You need the State Police to get the unsafe trucks off of the Interstates and I you pay their wages, Some of those drivers cannot afford new shocks and tires, so they drive with rotten equipment and you have seen them out there.
I definitely think that we need these inspections out here because some trucks out here are trash. Doesn’t mean that I like it but revenue collectors are definitely needed out here.

Bandit, it doesn’t hurt to Manually Defrost your Reefer and making sure your front hoses aren’t jammed up with junk, I use to use a screwdriver and squeeze the hoses making sure nothing’s in there. Also, OMG 😳, you finally got a full truck load. 😂

@@OTRBandit Also Bandit, stand and watch to see the water draining from the hoses in the front, Also if you have the auto air inflation System for your tires, that light will light up letting you know it’s filling your tires up with air. I believe bright red means mechanical. But things may have changed since I pulled a Reefer in 2004.

I have a little trivia for ya regarding "longest routes". You are correct in saying rt.90 is the longest "interstate highway" in the U.S.. But rt.20 is the longest "continuous route" in the U.S. !! It's 340 some odd miles longer than 90, running from Newport, Oregon to Boston, Massachusetts. So there ya go "My friieeeend" !!!🙂

They’ll do it to you when you are on your 10 hour break they got me like that but anyway OTR you just keep doing what you do and be careful my friend until the next time.

Technically your not driving or sitting on the public highway, roadway or rest stop. So they can inspect for permits or license plates, let alone inspection your truck or trailer. Be like them showing up at your home with your truck infront of the garage or storage shed. Not going to work. And unless the trucker drags them onto the property with lights a blazing for a highway stop by police. Then the police have no right to bug you sitting there. And the owner would be a moron for giving them permission and still can be fought for private property and harassment.

Those Ohio truck cops are RELENTLESS! I’m not a trucker and I know that.
They really are. They used to pull people over into rest areas but now they do it at truck stops too.

Finally fully loaded. Do I have to do manual defrost? You think that’s why my light came on?
@@OTRBandit Yes, in hot weather the coils build ice quickly, manually defrosting keeps the coils free from ice.

In these hot temperatures, the reefer will always throw an out of box temp fault. Normal.
