Thanks for the video, I changed the regulator on my girlfriends car this weekend. One thing that caught me out was a bolt near the motor (more toward to hinge) and basically when I tightened it up it made the window come out of the runners, which meant taking everything apart again. The solution is before putting the bolt in get and Allen key and unwind the thing around the hole and it creates a spacer meaning when u tighten the bolt it doesnt bend the frame out of alignment. This will save you taking the window in and out 10x like I did
I'm trying to get my head around this as I'm considering doing the job myself. The screw you're talking about @karljones9832 are you saying before you put the window back in, unwind it outwards with allen key (e.g. unwind out like you're going to take the screw out?) but then when you put the normal Torx screw in, it will tighten the allen ley/spacer screw and keep the window in the rail. One other thing I was wondering about is the bit that attaches to the Window Regulator motor from the new regulator appears to have a cable tie attached to the spinning mechanism that I didn't see removed in this video and another. Is that supposed to stay or is it supposed to be cut off? The clip after I saw that showed the regulator motor attached, so I'm not sure if it was removed or not.
@JayJay-xq3kf hi, it was a while ago since I did this so I can't remember, I would need to see it apart now and refresh my memory I'm afraid. It's pretty straight forward (I am no mecahnic) so give it a go. There is a bolt (from memory) on the underside of the door that took me a while to find too. Hopefully that helps

How do you adjust the the window on the gliders because i have done the same and the window dont go smoothly and trigger the safety switch at some points
Great video and I have to give kudos to Karl Jones. His advice to rotate the two adjustable bolt seats into contact position first made it work on the first go.

thats the biggest pain in the arse ever..my window has dropped and i now feel like setting fire to it
