Having an extension of your personality through different colours, whether the dial, the bezel, the strap, whatever it may be are great ways to show some personalization and even more character. Great video once again Teddy!
Now count how often he says: - world of - really - one of - a little bit more / little more - watch Teddy makes great content, but he needs speech coaching at this stage. Great to many crutch and filler words.
To be fair most watch reviewers on the youtubes bang on about their own wrist size; Teddy goes one better by often showing a variety of sizes in his vids
For me, the knock-out watch with colour at the moment is the pistachio Breitling Heritage Chronograph. Breitling are definitely on a roll at the moment and this watch is a bold statement that shouldn't work but it does, beautifully.
GRAND SEIKO SBGA387 US LIMITED EDITION is my grail, yikes prices keep going up, was 5.8k then now 7k+. I would go for the JCL Reverso with the circular subsecond, its cool looking.
7:23 Now….. that’s a dial colour! What a beautiful piece. 9:42 Fantastic! Very abstract and an eye catching design. 13:54 My bucket list watch that I am in the process of buying lottery tickets in hopes of winning enough to get it. 16:28 Classic look and beautiful execution.
Nodus Retrospect III Flare Orange w/ceramic bezel insert is my favorite orange watch at any price and one of my favorite colorful watches. Very dynamic color, crisp contrast w/hands and markers, bold yet elegant design and proportions.
Absolutely love deeper/darker colours. Thanks for putting Anordain on my radar - the colour and face finish on the one you've shown is a big win from me.
I’ve just gotten a French Connection timepiece and I fell in love with your videos. I just binge watched like 30 different videos.! Great videos Teddy!
Good work Teddy. I have a few watches at some different price points but the purple fume Deep Blue Master 1000 diver still makes me take a second look each time. Fantastic value for a well built auto
Really great video! I'm a huge fan of colourful dials. The two brand that stand out to me who do colourful dials that you didn't mention is Glasshütte Original and Moser.
I love having a collection full of color. Deviate from the normal black dial and put a pop of color in your collection. I have a Oris Red Pointer Date on deck and I am considering the Edox Orange Neptunian, Mido Ocean Star with the grey dial or the Mido Ocean Star GMT with orange. As always, luv the content and presentation.
I have two black dial watches but then a seiko alpinist with the green and a seamaster 300 in chrome/silver with the blue bezel. For my next watch I am thinking of red or white
Teddy another great video! Thanks…. Color has always been a consideration with my watch collection. Some dials some straps and sometimes both. I pick a watch that matches ( contrast) what I am wearing. This makes collecting and wearing fun.
When you open the box of the 41mm Bulova Oceanographer you'd better be wearing a welding mask. No picture or video really does it justice, it's a watch that wears you! Thanks Teddy, great stuff mate. :)
I have a doxa sub 300 professional and i love it. I wear it more than my oyster perpetual. It’s way more versatile than you’d think with a lot of water resistance
My only two mechanicals have an olive green and dark turquoise dials respectively, plus the latter is a "Scuba Dude" Amphibia. I even modded color into some Casios by swapping LEDs.
Another great video, Teddy. It's always a pleasure to watch. Amazing to see the state-of-art finishing level some dials have achieved these last years. One thing that really bothers me on Seiko's Presage line is the use of a low level movement, I mean, plastic parts, QC issues, in watches with really innovative beautiful dials. Those Prospex/Presage watches deserve a more reliable stronger heart like the 8L35 with no plastic parts. Cheers, mate.
@@justinbarnard8749 Yeah, check out After, Swiss micro brand... sort of a more playful Nomos... my favorite micro brand. Look at their Heckla Compressor, their Chronographs and GMTs are amazing too.
i purchased a muhle glasshutte just a week ago so it's very nice t o see the panova featured on this video. i have to say they make a fantastic timepiece and I can't help but think I'm gonna be holding on to this one for a long time. it's a perfect everyday watch that. i didn't get it in green though. Their blue model is jus stunning so I had to go with it since green will really limit your wardrobe choices. This is a fun video and now i'm wondering if my collection needs a new Hamilton. cheers.
Excellent video Teddy, as always. Though you could have added a few more watches going on the higher side of the price range. Some of the watches I would have liked to see are Zenith Defy Classic. Glashütte original 60s and also any from H. Moser & Cie
Seiko does the best textured dials. I wish I liked the baby blue or the matcha green it came in but looks great in person. I hope they come out in other fun colors that work for me (and in a smaller case as well).
I've been fighting myself on getting the Seiko SRPF53, I'm in love with that watch but a bit expensive for a watch but I think I'll just save using term and get t because I've been looking at other light blue dial watches and they don't make me feel the same way or better, yes I think I'll just get it it's been on my minds list for a couple of years now
That first Seiko you featured is gorgeous. Not a huge fan of the presage lineup from what I’ve seen but that one looks like it could be my next watch. Cheers! PS - I own the red Kamasu and it’s an absolute beauty full of rich color. I also bought the Phoibos Wavemaster abalone recently and that dial is truly mesmerizing.
Recently bought the Seiko srpf53. It looks nicer in person than even the macro shots of it. Very nice size as well as being thin enough to have a perfectly proportional appearance. I also can’t say enough good things about how comfortable and attractive the bracelet is which is not always Seiko’s strength. The dial in the sunlight through the sapphire has to be seen to really appreciate it fully. Just saw your comment and for no particular reason thought I’d let you know that I truly love the watch and cant say enough good things about it! It’s also often for sale well under $400 on Macy’s website.
The 50th Anniversary titanium lunar pilot is a stunner for $1000. For a limited edition, they are giving us a different watch. I like the surfboard. Bulova has some underrated models
Saw the yellow dial Nomos Club in person... Gotta say it's quite a stunner and pretty well done... Also, the Oris Cotton Candy Bronze is growing on me🤔🤔 I hated it when it first came out but yea...
What a great video. As i get more into watches I enjoy many aspects of how watches are made but the bottom line is that we almost always look at the dial first to judge whether we like a watch or not. I think it is the largest factor. Which is why I get so tired of black dials. They just look so monotonous.
Good call with the Monaco, Teddy (and yes, it has to be blue imo). Perfect for wearing to a watch fair, or when you want to scream "i'm a watch nut" in public, or get taken seriously by an AD.
I have the original version of the Bulova "Surfboard" 666 Chrono from 1971. Also got an Orange Doxa Sub 300T-Graph Professional. Would love to have a Monaco and a Reverso...
Hey Teddy, would you consider reviewing/discussing Islander watches, from Long Island Watch? I'm curious about trying them but would be keen to hear your thoughts

What abt hearing “6 and a quarter inch wrist”
To be fair most watch reviewers on the youtubes bang on about their own wrist size; Teddy goes one better by often showing a variety of sizes in his vids
Something about Nomos mixing Arabic and Roman numerals really puts me off of that model
Totally agree. I hate that.
For me, the knock-out watch with colour at the moment is the pistachio Breitling Heritage Chronograph. Breitling are definitely on a roll at the moment and this watch is a bold statement that shouldn't work but it does, beautifully.

Only when you like mutilated numerals...
@@panorama4526I like it because its different.
I agree! The green ladies Chronomat is also stunning.
@@fiona8312 absolutely! I tried on the 36 mm with the diamond dial and I would totally rock it.
So glad you covered anOrdain! I love what they are bringing to the table - and their enameling process blog posts are exceptional. Great video Teddy!
I've been trying to get hold of one for a couple years. Limited runs is a blessing and a curse. The lack of people reselling them is a good sign
That NOMOS Club Campus is a beautiful watch. Love the color!
The Grand Seiko is my grail watch, hand's down. Then either the JLC Reverso and the Longines come in as close seconds!
GRAND SEIKO SBGA387 US LIMITED EDITION is my grail, yikes prices keep going up, was 5.8k then now 7k+. I would go for the JCL Reverso with the circular subsecond, its cool looking.
Couple awesome picks right there
I love how you always group them into price ranges, really useful !

Great video (as always) I start liking the Nomos a lot - great watch
Nomos understated elegance & a lovely movment makes it my favorite horological house.
This video is specifically foe me.
Thank you Mr. Baldassarre
Based on your recommendation I got myself a Vostok Amphibia . It may just be my favorite watch in my collection so far. Love your videos!

Great choices. The Anordain? Never heard of them, but what an amazing watch! Same with the Muhle Glasshutte. Very interesting.

H Moser have nailed fume dials. Those watches are definitely a statement on the more luxury end.
That plume fume. Enamel sounds very tasty. That dial omg
I have the burgundy JLC Reverso small seconds, the color always mesmerizes me every time I wear it. My favorite of the 3 JLCs I own.
This was such a fun video. Very attractive presentation of watches.

The baby alpinists with the fumé dials have great subtle color. Also the Oris big crown pointer date options.
Very good options
So many to choose from. The Oris Aquis red dial that’s almost black is another I’d add. Also several Moser blue dials.
Eye opening episode. Thanks very much
Love that anOrdain red dial, they do it in a more subtle cream dial that’s I’ve had my eye on and it’s just 👌🏻

One of the best-looking dials is the Nomos Ahoi in that bright baby blue with the Orange seconds hand!
I really liked this. More color please.
I love linen dials on vintage watches and (don’t think) any brand has them today. I don’t want a vintage watch, but would love a linen dial.
Beautifull and collorfull dialsTeddy. Some are on my wish list. But you forgot to mention the Alexander Shorokhoff watches ;)
why did you remove the interview with alpha m?

I think the movement for the Rolex colorful OPs is the 3230, not 3130.
