So happy to see that this family aren’t one of those people that hid in their homes with drapes drawn quaking in fear, fasting and praying for deliverance from evil. Good for children to see this completely natural phenomenon untainted by fear of some supernatural threat.

We had a full view of the eclipse here in north Texas and what an amazing display of God's handiwork in the Heaven's ...
2 Tim 1:7, 'For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and a sound mind."
So many fear mongers here on YT ...
Guess what? We all know there was no EMP, no power outages, and the sky didn't fall.
I walked the farm as the eclipse was taking place; it got dark, temp dropped, a slight breeze, birds chirped and the experience was just like you said, Jessica; very spiritual.
I felt an amazing peace as I prayed to the Lord ..what a blessing to be able to experience such greatness from the Him.
Thank you for sharing your family's experience and may the Good Lord bless all of you.
    Sending love from north Texas!❤

I missed viewing the totality because I was trying to help my daughter see it (she didn't). It was super eerie, the birds stopped chirping and the street lights came on. Temperature dropped like crazy right around totality. It was one of the strangest yet coolest natural events I've ever witnessed. (SE Michigan here). That was really cool you made special foods for the event!

You made such a special day for your kids! Good job, Mom. I felt the same about the eclipse... How great could it be? We had a partial eclipse here in Maine a few years ago and it was not that exciting. My husband wanted to drive the two hours to totality to see if, so we did... We found a spot off a side road with mountain views of the White Mtns. And WOW...I an still speechless recollecting it. It blew me away. It was so AMAZING and I did tear up. My kids loved the experience too, even the three year old! I'm in awe of God and his power.

My 3rd eclipse, folks in Tx said the same thing "I get why you people travel all over to see eclipses" so marvelous for you to show the darkness and 365 sunset, just seeing a picture of an eclipse doesn't do it justice. It is a spiritual, visceral experience of the power of the natural world. After I saw my 1st I said - when can I see another!!!

In totality you can hold a cooking sieve out in the dimming sunlight and look at the shadows cast on the ground. There is a tiny eclipse in every shadow/light made by the sieve holes. It is so cool to see the wonder of nature. Here in Florida we got to witness it again and once again we are reminded of the wonder and glory of God and all his creations. Where the leaves made dappled lights on the ground, there was a tiny eclipse in every shadow/light and where there was sunshine on my granddaughters skirt while she stood in the dappled light, there was a bunch of reflections of the eclipse also. Pure magic. My granddaughter was looking for unusual ways to make pies to celebrate your son's one year birthday. I'm going to make a bunch of your moon pies for her sweetie pie themed birthday.

The eclipse was nowhere near MN, and we had heavy cloud cover anyway, but I've been watching different footage of it. It reminds me of the crucifixion...Mark 15:33...so when you say it was almost spiritual, I can understand why. Even aside from the crucifixion, it is a clear example of the wonder and might of Almighty God.

Wow! I never even thought of making food or snacks for the eclipse. All of that looks great! I bet this was a cool learning experience for the kids about the earth and our solar system! I'm in CT where there wasn't totality but we had about 95% sun coverage here. On another note, I saw someone in the chat on one of the eclipse livestreams making fun everyone who was getting excited about the eclipse or traveling to see it, saying big deal we've had those before. But with all of the chaos going on in the world right now, I found it wholesome to see everyone joyful about something, even if it was "just an eclipse". People all over the world were tuning into the livestreams, so it wasn't just the U.S. joining in the excitement. Everyone (except that one person) was happy! I don't know why that would bother anyone. 🤷🏻‍♀

I recently watched one of your videos where you said you had issues with Soy, Gluten and sugar. If you only eat Organic, Non GMO Soy and Gluten products you will be fine. Vary your sugar types by trying coconut sugar, date syrup, agave nectar, honey, and lots of others. Too much of the same type creates the issue with sugar and most other things. By varying you produce types a lot more, you will find that all your issues clear up. I did this myself, but it only works if Organic and Non GMO.

I'm like you, i thought that i had seen a total eclipse, but after seeing one, realized that i had not. In Indianapolis, it was a perfect 75°, and during the totality, it dropped to 67°. Absolutely amazing and a miracle of God. I wondered why there were license plate from many states on the roads. But i get it now!! Couldn't help but think of the ancient people who would surely wonder if the world was ending.

I love all your recipe ideas for the eclipse! Fun memories for your kids. We watched it here in Ga through x ray film even though it wasn’t a total eclipse for us. Still it was fascinating!

I live in Illinois and I didn't get too see the eclipse. Oh everything is just a blooming here all of my trees and the berries are just putting on their leaves. I've canned 5 cases of pints and half pts. Even used up the Apples and peels ,got apple butter and jelly and yes the stick blender helps so much with apple sauce and butters. I need too have a recipe for apple Picton because the Cerro jel I use is over $5.00 or more. But I do buy up all I can for winter jelly and jam making.

My experience was about the same: surreal and spiritual. I remarked to my husband that I finally understood why ancient civilizations saw these as harbingers. We also saw the same prominence in my husband’s electronic telescope. I don’t know if you can zoom in on your photos, but towards the end of totality, there’s another prominence on the upper right side.

What a great memory your family gets to share. I was in a total eclipse about 45 yrs ago and it was amazing! I live in Saskatchewan and we were suppose to have about 45% visibility on this one but we had heavy cloud cover. So thanks for sharing your video footage!

This is unrelated but I do not have an Instagram to ask you on... With making so much of your body care products yourself I'm curious about what toothpaste you use? I remember once you mentioned taking all the kids to the dentist and none of them had cavities. I feel like that's a great feat in our culture. I feel often like I need to take out all sugar and baked goods in order for my children to have healthy teeth but you guys enjoy them regularly. I'm just curious!

Thank you for sharing the eclipse and your recipes! Here in So Cal, we are near the beach, so we didn't experience any of that. I'm glad your children got to see it first hand. The older ones will remember!

Thank you for such an amazing look into this cool phenomenon! We didn't have any signs of an eclipse happening where we are in Montana. I can see how that could be an emotional experience...God is good!

In the Jewish tradition when seeing an unusual natural phenomenon , we say Psalm 104 and bless God, who performs acts of creation and whose might and wonder fill the world

    The magnificence of our Creator.
An eclipse is a visual reminder of our connection to all living creatures on earth. This one earth, one human having a spiritual experience in this single lifetime.
We cannot waste it. So whatever dreams we have, we should honor them. Be grateful to open our eyes every morning, and make loving choices.

Thanks for sharing this footage. I was in the path of totality as well but the clouds completely covered the totality portion of the eclipse. I got to see most of everything leading up to it and experienced the couple minutes of darkness. Very neat and a reminder of the beauty of creation.
