Galway was lovely ,used to go to Tuam in the 80s and from Tullamore with beet , loved seeing them stone walls again , how can you moan at that scenery lol , love the vids my friend
Hello, I was interested in your comments about not always following the 'Satnav'. I can think of one particular road in the NorthWestern outskirts of Sydney, that is one lane each way and has hairpin bends, and warning signs banning Any vehicle over 7 M in length (including caravans) from going down that road. Every so often you will hear a traffic report saying an over length vehicle has become stuck in Galston Gorge. There are warning signs on the roadside And painted measuring lines on the road itself, giving you ample warning to turn around if you are overlength. People just ignore the warnings, and then become stuck on the first hairpin bend, when the Police and RMS inspectors arrive, the just say that they were following their satnav! It is a hefty fine and points off your licese, so it pays to be careful!.
Great video Ned. Nice to see ya down my neck of the woods between ballina and Sligo that diversion was in place for 3 bloody weeks. Keep up the great videos Ned
I used to always pulled in the hand shoulder to let impatient fuckers by when I was on perennial freight when I lived over there for a couple of years but I got nicked on the N11 by a bad bastard of a cop on a bike so I stopped doing it unless it was a good clear run. class videos sir.
Great to see a new video ned, all going well I'll have my C&E done and passed next week, it was your euro trip videos that inspired me to give it a go and start my self on a new career path. Looking forward to getting off the tippers, and in an artic.
Hi Ned you talk about lazy way and correct way two things I spotted you never done you never checked trailer brake was on especially with split coupling I know it can’t move anyway and where was the tug test, still another great entertaining video though keep up the good work
Love when people pass trucks here in Sweden on one of our 2-1 lanes, where you have 2 lanes for 1.5km and they pass the truck going 1mph faster, i pass putting my foot down and give the truck plenty of room before going in in front of him, if i can't do that i just wait for the next 2 lane stretch.
If somebody pulled out of a farm yard and your doing 90 on the hard shoulder do you think that's ok ,I've seen a farmer killed because of that style of driving but I'm sure you know best
Well Done Ned thanks for another great video have you heard of Claremorris and I saw you 3 weeks ago in Dublin port I think keep er lit lad up Mayo for Sam
With a Fridge Trailor and Close Coupled Trailors it makes it Harder to Connect the Air and Electrical Supplies, however, it is always best to Ensure the Trailor Brake is on prior to Connection of the Air/Elec Supplies which looks like Ned Failed to do. When our Company Subbied some Units to Morrissons they would Kick us off Site if they saw us do this method.
hi ned I think chating to mo helps keep your blood pressure at a safe level considering the stressful job you do I think every euro you are paid is well earned big time.where in ballina did you live for 8 years .?
As usual Ned great video......can you answer a question for me please, What is Nolan Transport like to work for , they are looking for drivers in Runcorn Cheshire, loading out of Holyhead and Liverpool, hope you can help, be safe out there......
Great video ned, good to have you and mo back but i did realise when you hitched up to the trailer you didnt put the clip on to stop the fifth wheel releasing? Or does this wagon have a different set up?
after dropping the tractor suspension slightly back half under then re raise the suspension so its in contact with the trailer the first thing always used to do, was pull on the trailer parking brake- if not already on; then raise the suspension, then connect the lines and back right under. Then test pull to make sure I’m fully locked in; then raise the trailer legs; then the number plate on and push off the trailer parking brake. reset the air suspension, then drive away. Simple and sorted
I have to thank truckers like you who make these kinds of videos. It gives me a chance to see another part of the world.
Galway was lovely ,used to go to Tuam in the 80s and from Tullamore with beet , loved seeing them stone walls again , how can you moan at that scenery lol , love the vids my friend

I only ever connected suzies after knowing 100% I'm locked onto the trailer. Always pleasure to see your videos
Jay B you’ve obviously never hooked into a close coupled fridge🙈👍
tight174 I have and do see your point, but it isn't the correct way

Wogan on wheels...brilliant
If somebody pulled out of a farm yard and your doing 90 on the hard shoulder do you think that's ok ,I've seen a farmer killed because of that style of driving but I'm sure you know best
If someone pulls out of a farm yard onto a main road without looking chances are they will get hit. I am always conscious of the unexpected pat 👍

Why do you not hook the trailer in as soon as you back into it ?
With a Fridge Trailor and Close Coupled Trailors it makes it Harder to Connect the Air and Electrical Supplies, however, it is always best to Ensure the Trailor Brake is on prior to Connection of the Air/Elec Supplies which looks like Ned Failed to do. When our Company Subbied some Units to Morrissons they would Kick us off Site if they saw us do this method.
Will you be going to portstewart truck show this year Ned?
All the people who are making clever comments about "you didn't do this" and "what, no lights/tyre checks" - have they not heard of video editing!?

There's a spring loaded bar that clicks down when the trailer connects Jordan
Fantastic Ned fantastic hope your keeping well lad
First thing I do with every new SatNav is Change the Voice to Male, because I steadfastly Refuse to have a woman Telling Me where to Go.
Blackwater House Cork Mine usually advises me to go to hell, very annoying !
Hello Ned. The camera is in a better place. Instead of looking at the door Piller.

Hard shoulder is not for driving on Ned . Full stop. You are only inviting trouble on yourself and others
Your from Westport I'm so close to where your from
And what would be the speed limit for you on that road where you were complaining about the rigid doing less than 80kph?
Nice to see you back Ned
you passed my house in longford
Yup, a long hood pete or KW would not get around these places.
Tight and small roads.
Nice vids
