I've done 3 great CPC courses so far and two of them have started with the instructor saying "I'm not a driver myself...." that immediately made us all laugh. spent 8hrs being told how to do my job by a car driver...

Just got introduced to your videos by a friend and fellow trucker. Your doing a great job, very entertaining and your handled Mr Attitude at the building site perfectly, he soon retracted his attitude lol.
The guard came on a bit strong at the start but he ended up being sound & genuinely cared about yourself which is nice to see. Great video as always Ned. As for the construction worker. Don't know why people get so aggressive so quickly. It could've just been sorted with him saying "let me get the site supervisor" rather than coming at you so hostile. Ah well. great vid Ned, I got stopped by the police at Birkenhead after picking up. Load wasn't strapped so obviously fixed that before i left, Scanned my digital card and everything was fine. Held my breath for that. seemed alright coppers but the next truck was impounded for no straps on load of crisps.all internals was trapped at front end, driver fined £100.
That was a really amusing video, Ned, its good to see you doing your bit to put the world to right. I used to deliver Gypsum products to building sites all over the UK and most of the time it was a nightmare you had to get used to. European trips are less trouble anytime. Keep safe.

Bloody hell ned, that must of been close with a 40 ton tractor unit? I used to do bricks out of Ibstock with a curtain sider and the older drivers always said to start the bricks about 4 to 5 meters from the head board because a full load would stop by the time they just past the first trailer axle and put to much weight on the tractor! Your correct about the strapping, I’d only strap the first 2 packs over the top and then down the front to try and stop them sliding, saying that if 28 ton wants to move a couple of 5 ton straps won’t be stopping it..

Ned Kelly Ireland it’s not easy being a truck driver and anyone taking their test should now be shown around trucks and be shown stuff like blind spots etc. All new drivers should go through a cpc type test how to check their cars what to do it an emergency vehicle comes up behind you how to behave around trucks etc. Stay safe old yin lol 😆

use to travel all over the country with the mothers ex husband in the truck its deadly watching these im from laois I live in kilmacthomas co waterford near flahavans the oat mill its been years and i still remember the roads your travelling on by god its all changed in the big smoke now .
When we backload from the brickworks to seatruck for Ireland we have to park on the bay and when we’ve straped all pallets and cross straped the back two pallets they come and sign the load of only then can we drive out the fkn place 27 tones of shrink wrapped palleted bricks if we got pulled by VOSA and it’s not done that way it’s big fines

Watching these videos is so enervating. The intensity level is at such a high pitch. I can see how many drivers succumb to an early demise. Not really complaining. Just making an observation. I do enjoy them, by and large. The hard rock music isn't my thing, but to each his own.
You missed a trick there Ned, you should have said one of the others was driving and let them get the lecture. Them two feckers would have had all the answers for plod and I doubt he'd have been keen to hand that one in back at the station. Love your stuff, so funny!
Hi Ned.. I could feel your frustration when your man from the site was saying you can't leave that truck there... I don't know how you kept you cool... You are used to people that think that they are someone better that us Truck drivers.. I have come across some people that think they are doing me a favor taking off there pallets... When I started driving a year ago what I done was when I was dealing with a forklift driver.. He'd say I'll be about 10 minutes before I can unload only 3 pallets and I'd say. TAKE YOUR TIME BOY THERE NO PANICand I noticed the the driver will be back to me faster.. I pretend that I am not underpressure to get to my next drop before they close.. Forklift drivers can make life very hard on a Trucker... God bless you Ned... I am off for a while at present and I am after looking at your same videos loads of times.. I just don't get fed up of the way you do it... Other l Truckers do it and bless them they don't have a clue... I love when you Speak like Stavrous... Keep safe..
