Ned that was a perfect video. It showed us non truck drivers what you guys have to go through everyday. Things that we would never see. More of these please. Very enjoyable to see how it all works and the different problems you encounter. GREAT JOB LAD
Great informative video, that blue trailer was a bag of bolts and needed a good overhaul, great work with the fruit and veg delivery, we take it for granted that its on the shelves every morning not thinking where its come from
You mention in the video about the curtains being a pain in the arse in the rain and the wind. Just remember when we only had ropes and tarps which when you have to put 3x 20' tarps on a load, now That Was a pain in the arse!!.
great seeing this from your eyes i always have respect for lorry drivers and its great seeing you helping with the forklift drivers as they say many hands make light work. i think this is the first time i ever watched a video from start to end that over 1 hour long keep up the great videos
Man..How many times have I been there? " No you can't use the dock, that's for OUR trucks" so you move your the yard and no other truck shows up. Aggravating! Todd the retired trucker
I spent more than a few of My School Holidays as a Teenager driving a Forklift in a Railway Freight Yard. So good was I with the Forklift that I was one of the few assigned to work inside of the Warehouse and not out in the Rail Yard like most of the Drivers. This was back before Shipping Containers or as I refer to them BMSS; Box Metal Shipping Steel (Australian Military Speak).
Today i learned so many things by this man hes old but he works as a Young man i should be also keep active like this man i really so respect this man god bless him ans his family 👏💖👍🙏
wow... you guys actually open up both sides... in finland we tell em to get stuffed... and the anchored straps are a pain in the backside but there is a pretty legitimate reason for it, as in some companies that have a lot of subcontractors get everything stolen that is not bolted down or welded on :P otherwise keep up the good work and best of luck mate
Please Ned load more videos asap !! Love the footage and that moaning gob shite Moe pls pls all my family are from Dublin and are truckers so your videos just make us feel grand ! THANK YOU NED ..
interesting that the forklifts are petrol or diesel I would have thought electric inside a warehouse anyway ned interesting stuff, I guess the straps they were wanting to get rid of, I love the dunnage that comes off trucks i collect pallets and the like useful wood at times if rubbish i burn the stuff, when goods are delivered to our business I ask the drivers if they want the pallets mostly I get a lot of them make things out of it, the plastic ones are great for keeping my winter firewood off the ground or any other use I can think of, I know guys who strip pallets down and line their garages or man caves with the wood, no good to nobody there are still people out there who would make something out of them straps. Love your stlye Ned you carck me up with your rants, mind you I am like that now in my Ford Transit van, I love the view and watch the idiots on the road.
Very interesting. Reminds me of watching Iwonas' videos that I enjoyed very much (still do even if she's in Canada now). Trucking in the old country is much different than in North America. Now I need to figure out what a walking floor trailer is!
Well Ned. Watching Your videos with Year and half or so. Enjoy em, and Your self and Moe remind me of talking to meself in the lorry. Good Stuff. Keep the videos coming and don't mind the smart fellas giving You guff on the comments. Safe driving Ned. May You be Well and family. jj
Great video Need. As s retired driver from the wesern US. This gives me a whole different outlook into our chosen profession. I agree with you on minding your back as mine is pretty well nackered after 35 years so of abusing it. Have a great day! Todd
Thoroughly enjoy your vlogs Ned. Great edits, info and music but also the great banter with Mo (class). Keep up the good work buddy, its fully appreciated Ned believe me.
Hey Ned love your vids keep it up, I have 1 suggestion to make I was thinking of putting one of your go pros at the back of the tractor where the air cables are when you are picking up or leaving a trailer , anyway I was just making a suggestion as I said love your vids keep it up
Ned Kelly Ireland They said 10 years but I reckon 5. I'm 3 years without any medical issues so I don't really know how long it'll take. they take the piss here. if I was in Ireland, I'd probably be back on the road by now.
Ned, been watching some of your videos over the last couple of days. Love them. Yes I agree, the camera on the side window with Moe at the pillow is not interesting watching. Love your bits of info and your take on events and situations. You're a proper real truck driver with diesel in your blood. Keep making the videos and stay safe. Where are you based ? High yard is that you run out of.

trafford park manchester, its a 24 hour yard ..you pick a trailer up and put the paperwork in the box on the window ledge ,on the way out ,at the hut theirs 85 trailers in there. no one around drive in ,collect and leave ,its been like that for years .IBM ,AND CONICA LOST thousand of monitors and key boards .and a pine company this new garden wicker furniture .4 trailers went missing ...all i know is the drivers all said, lar lar lar alwright lar .
Good that they've given your own motor for a bit too. You can see how happy its made you. It's a cracking machine there and that cherau was a nice find
Passed one of your Trucks today on the A55, North Wales. I had a look to see if 'Moe' was sitting in the Windscreen but couldn't so not sure if it was you or not.
I am really enjoying your videos Ned. Can you tell us witch camera's you are using and how you assembled them at the inside of youre truck. Perhaps you can show it to us in one of youre video's. Keep on going!!
My dad used to be the transport manager of tpn the first place you were and he told the boss when he was building the new extension not to put the new building so close to the old one but he did not listen and now it’s impossible to get onto a bay
I’m a owner operator from the USA. You have a great channel. I hope I get the chance to come there one day and check out the trucks there- thanks Daniel McCarthy

Hey Ned safe travels, Here in North America, trucks are not restricted nor have to stop on any holiday on this side of the pond. I ran on many holiday weekends.
Your bunk is different to mine, I have a ladder that folders from under the bunk and I have stuck one of the mounts to the bar that comes down. I also do a view over the shoulder and do prefer your view from there as you see the trailer and approaching traffic
Ned Kelly Ireland as above. Based I Wolverhampton but deliver and tramp nationwide on flat beds matey. Predominantly south from the midlands but occasionally run north. Sorry for later response I didn't see your reply.
never ask old people where something is .this is what happend to me ///i asked this old dear she was realy nice. she said yes i know that place . its its down there where george the butchers use to be, past the petrol station they knocked down years ago, across the old crossing that use to be there, and just after the that school that got knocked down years ago , its on the left .you cant miss it .
This my first time watching trucking that is from a foreign country and my goodness its different. 23:07, in America there is no way we would have pallets stacked like that in a box trailer, stuff like that is on a flatbed trailer. One thing I noticed that the unloading is done faster and more easier, with our box trailers like our dry vans and reefers we open the back trailer doors and have forklifts enter through the back but our pallets are stacked in twos instead of three. I have a question, what are the numbers on the back of the trailer used for? The 70 and 80? I know those numbers are speed limits on the road but its a little odd seeing those on the trailer.
Hey Ned, what the heck was that coiled airline doing hung up next to your steering wheel. Could be considered a hazard. Sometimes it seems like you're a stranger in your own country! LOL
Ned that was a perfect video. It showed us non truck drivers what you guys have to go through everyday. Things that we would never see. More of these please. Very enjoyable to see how it all works and the different problems you encounter. GREAT JOB LAD
I thoroughly enjoy watching Ned’s videos!
Watching this reminded me of why I gave it up 40 years ago, as soon as I got OUT from BEHIND the wheel, my job sucked!!!
Great watch Ned, respect for the time and effort put into these videos.
Great informative video, that blue trailer was a bag of bolts and needed a good overhaul, great work with the fruit and veg delivery, we take it for granted that its on the shelves every morning not thinking where its come from

and you were constantly tightning the ropes, how things have changed lol
Great educational video for newbies on the helpings of unloading of goods.. more people should be doing this in RUclips videos
great seeing this from your eyes i always have respect for lorry drivers and its great seeing you helping with the forklift drivers
as they say many hands make light work. i think this is the first time i ever watched a video from start to end that over 1 hour long keep up the great videos

Great video ned, thanks for putting it on.Not many easy days are there.
Very interesting. Reminds me of watching Iwonas' videos that I enjoyed very much (still do even if she's in Canada now). Trucking in the old country is much different than in North America. Now I need to figure out what a walking floor trailer is!

I just came across you're video's. I have a question for you. What is the air line for inside you're cab?
its to blow the dust of the dash
You'd be surprised how many driver's are out there without any tools in their truck. It's ridiculous! Anyway. Another good video..
Love your videos Ned, keep up the good work👍
Awsome to watch Ned. Have you called it a day on the driving?
No John
But probably on the European
Too much hassle now
HI Ned, would it be better just doing containers all the time.less hassle?
My dad used to be the transport manager of tpn the first place you were and he told the boss when he was building the new extension not to put the new building so close to the old one but he did not listen and now it’s impossible to get onto a bay

Loving the scania 😍 king of the road 🚛
Great too see you`ve got your own unit now Ned, I dont think those @ 56.50 could organise a piss up at a brewery they seem so clueless.
Great videos, new subscriber from the north of Scotland, hoping one day to use my hgv 1 or 2 when the wife’s health improves

I didn't know I'd be travelling in Ireland today, but I was for an hour and 8 minutes.
Please forgive my ignorance, but what is that orange Curley lead hanging in you view in the cab, is it not driving you up the wall being there?
Love the videos, keep up the brilliant job
Nice one Ned. Keeper lit.

I couldn't deal with that airline being in my vision Ned
Hey Ned, what the heck was that coiled airline doing hung up next to your steering wheel. Could be considered a hazard. Sometimes it seems like you're a stranger in your own country! LOL
Hi Ned there is a fine for hogging the middle lane in uk its £100.00 and 3 penalty points
So ok I'm not a trucker so this maybe a stupid question but what's the air line hanging down in the cab?
Rizla--King its to blow out dirt and dust from da cab
That market can be a nightmare.Spent many an hour waiting for forklift truck to come back.
