Ned ..great to watch a good man doin a good job . Do keep up the bad language to remind the rest of us that we are normal when we see or come up on idiots on the road or in the course of the day at work . You videos are a great insight for others starting out. Back in the day when I got started I had to figure out how to get the trailer off myself and that was after I passed the “test”. Im away from the wheel but often get the longing to get a rig and hit the road into the sunset.
Thanks very much for your time and effort Ned,great quality video showing exactly how it is.Great camera angles you use in cab and on the mirrors which make for great viewing and I always enjoy you using everyday language just like we all do if we were honest. Thanks again Ned and take care.
@NessaTrucker UK Most buckles wear out, the pins go, straps get worn and frayed. The rails should be greased to allow the curtains to slide, ours rarely are and the poles at either end get bent
Hi Ned and Co. It's always good to re-visit your videos, I NEVER get tired of watching, when it's just the wolf and me. I wonder if the rattling was an immigrant or thief from one of your away trips. Or perhaps an agent from Swedish truck stops, [or even Grimaldi] wanting your views Keep trucking. Jack .
I've just found your channel Ned and greatly enjoyed the couple of episodes i've watched. Yourself, Mo and Billy are a great team. Thanks for a great video Ned. And thanks for educating us all to be more courteous , and more thoughtful of others on the road. With some flair of course.
I'm here to carry on my dads subscription to the channel, your videos Ned helped a trucker through his last few months in hospital. In truth your videos helped in laughter a look into what he wanted to be doing in not laid up in hospital. Thanks mate.
Just watched a video of yours and it was fascinating. I used to drive long haul here in Canada. Very interested in truck driving in UK and Europe. Great video.
Those are transformers at CG power, I believe. Come to Canada and drive here Ned...Lots of open roads with less congestion than big US cities..In the province of New Brunswick, the Mirimachi area is the Irish capital of Canada where many Irish settlers including Kelly's made their home along with my descendants. Shout out to Big Al would be nice.
Hi Ned, I do fridge work all the time. If you have an old Anderson Lead that you can cut one end off and then wire on to the bare cables a couple of insulated crocodile clips. This saves having to remove your battery box cover and all that fu**ing about! **Assuming you have an Anderson plug on the Truck**. Also if you do have to jump again always put the negative leads on to the chassis or some solid engine part. They advise not to put the positive and negative on to he battery. You got it right when starting the fridge up. ( Just a tip from someone who's been in the same position dozens of times) Great Vlog as usual. And you got me into Trucker Ray too....😁
