The Motorcycle Swivel Hitch Heim Coupler allows pivoting beyond a normal coupler rotation for improved safety when towing with a motorcycle. This complete kit includes the swivel heim, hitch post, and hitch post lock. The swivel heim mounts into the trailer tongue and the hitch post (3/4" stud) mounts in place of the ball on the motorcycle hitch. This swivel is made of high-quality materials including an aluminum block housing, high tensile stress-proof steel shaft, and stainless steel hitch post.

No, the heim is greased and ready to tow.

The swivel will work on any hitch with a ball mount. The hitch should be approximately 11-12" from the ground for our trailers to sit level.

What if the bike falls over…. Like in a parking lot?
The swivel rotates 360 degrees so it won’t bind or cause any damage to the bike, hitch, or trailer.

Good joint, not necessarily the best alternative, imagine your bike breaking down, your buddies or a friendly Samaritan comes tour aid, unless they have the same hitch, your still stuck....go for the swivel ‘normal’ hitch....much better in times of need, either you can help out your biker friends or indeed a car or truck driver can help you....
Yes, it is true that a ball swivel can be easier to transfer to another vehicle during an emergency, but our post installs just like any ball would and could easily be removed and installed on another hitch for towing. it has more rotation than a ball joint. but its also weaker.
