    Not only is there the rotational benefit on turning you spoke of when the bike is leaning. But there is no instantaneous shift or tug, fore or aft, on acceleration and decelerations. Absolute sublime pulling connection. Bushtec trailers set the bar with their renowned Heim connection. Beautiful motorcycle. I am into lights. And lots of them. See and be seen. Safe and happy travels. ATGATT.

      As a rider it pulls and tracks a lot better. Definitely worth the money

    Thats a cool setup. I was scared of how much the bike moved when you attached the trailer the first time.

      The Harley has kickstand with a ton of play, it’s actually (originally) designed to be able to “shake and wiggle” the bike onto a concrete block and be able to change the rear tire. The original design is Harley was with long ride in mind. Part of why I believe they have not gone to led lights. The lights they run can be bought at almost any gas station

      I was hesitant at 1st. Though it was a little pricey but after installing it, well worth it. Removes the slack at takeoff and stop. Also tracks a lot better

    Good call installing it,, Jason. I've seen videos of bikes getting laid down intentionally to show the difference, game changer. Hmmm, that was your left ear? Next time Doyle is talking trash about ya, I'll have to make sure to remind him to stand to your left, so y'all don't have to hear his BS. Hahahaha. Ride safe.

    That's a pretty trick little part. Even if the bike were to have a parking lot tip over the trailer would be protected. At a minimum it may stop the frame from being twisted. Great video.

    Mississippi torque wrench? That’s a new one. I usually refer to those as the “nut rounder-offer” or “adjustable hammer”. LOL.

      Nut rounder offer I will agree with hammer is improper use. If you are going to pound that the time and get the BFH and beat it to submission lol

    Heim joints are good, been used for decades on race machines etc, only one possible issue is if your going to tow another trailer, helping a buddy, your stuffed, same goes if your bikes damaged or broken down, trailer needs to be towed by the corresponding hitch. I’d go def for a swivel conventional tow hitch...
    Nice vid though 😃

    • @Mr.McStache
      @Mr.McStache  4 месяца назад

      I have been picked up on the side of the road before. I carried the old trailer nose then now I carry an extra pin. Could also remove mine and use it or put the ball back on for other trailer. But the “slop” is gone and trailer tracks a ton better. Thanks for your input, great things most don’t think about

    Cool....What was in inside dimension of your trailer tongue?

    • @Mr.McStache
      @Mr.McStache  Год назад

      inside dimension of 1-3/4" x 1-3/4". The swivel bolt mounting holes should be 2-1/4" apart in the tongue. This is what it called for in the order form and what mine was. Have a feeling its a common measurement. Trailer tracks so much better too!

  • @jeffreyengle2762
    @jeffreyengle2762 4 месяца назад

    Just do yourself a big favor and don’t forget the red Loctite on your pin bolt……. (I noticed you did not) Otherwise, you and your trailer will part company. Take it for me, that big nut will not stay tight, and when it comes loose, will give you every kind of havoc you can think of and your helmet will become absolutely essential one more time believe me, you don’t want to see that happen.
