Thanks for doing what y’all do. This was a great vlog. Especially your interview with Danny. I have truly loved all the dimensions Danny brings to Utube- what an inspirational guy! I am glad to know there are so many riders out there that are such good people. What a mix of all types that make us aware how much we are alike in so many ways even though we are so different. God bless!
Thanks Jim appreciate it mate. Yes Danny is a good bloke, his insight into men's mental health was very interesting. We hope to get him back on the show every now and then. Lets face it, Bikers are awesome 😎
Elaine, you mentioned fight or flight look up the Wim Hof method, breathing technique, and ice bath. It triggers the anatomical, nervous system, which is linked with fight or flight. Health benefits exponential. I love you guys show. Keep up the good work.
Craig I will pass your suggestion onto Elaine, her son just got an ice bath and I think we should vlog her getting in. LOL Thanks for watching glad you enjoy it. Ride Safe
Great video boys, and big thanks to Danny for making his appearance and explaining why he puts together the Charity ride each year and hats off to him for doing that. Also great ride route from Tassie! Last trip down there the western side of the Lake was unsealed so itching to get back there and try it again on the tar.
Good show guys, a few hard topics covered there. Depression - sort of hard for a non-sufferer to understand, I'm a little wiser now. Good to see Big Bert on the show.
Hi Millenz, thanks mate we appreciate the feedback, glad you enjoyed the show. We are first heading to the Burt Munro Challenge for the weekend then up to Queenstown to collect the bikes. We have them for 6 days heading eventually to Christchurch. Would be happy to to catch up and say G’day. Shoot me a DM and if possible we can arrange something.👍🏻
great show guys Danny great guy who shares with blokes in need, when you flogs come up to Sydney, I and many others would love to ride with you to Grey Gum Cafe it's definitely a road like the high country Vic, without the potholes!
Great show guys, sorry I couldn't catch it live, too many CFA meetings🚒, thanks for the resurgence gear, still negotiating with the tail gunner as to what we'll get!!👖🧤🧥
Firstly, Happy New Year to y'all My commiserations. Ummm... he has family left behind? Maybe a fund-raiser? The Putty Rd is one of the best motorcycling roads in Australia. I used to ride it & drive it in trucks Went through Blackbutt just yesterday Only a little bit of drizzle & a slight ocean breeze at present, on the Bruce Hwy Townsville
Thanks for your words snd kind thoughts. Stowie provided well for his family before he was struck down so all good there, but appreciate the offer. Yes the Putty Rd is iconic, a great rude. Ride safe
Great Interview and Danny you get it, I agree with your answers when you disagreed with them. You only have a couple maybe a few good friends. Listen to them, don't be offended by truth. Because you've live it. Nobody wants to die, they just want The Pain to stop. Try and Reach out Guys and Gals.
First of all thank you guys for this vlog. I wanted to add a thought. A few weeks back, l went and bought some lunch and went to a secluded nature reserve to sit quietly and eat. I shared this with a friend who told me men have been found in their car deceased from intentional carbon monoxide poisioning. Here is my thought: l wonder if there was a way that person could have access to talk to a Lifeline counsellor at that very spot they plan to take their own life. Like a phone, with signage saying 'we care, please just call us'. I also think 'Child Support' need a HUGE change in the way they operate. Their decisions affect so many and are unjust and unfair and they are untouchable. They don't seem they are answerable to anyone (l am just saying). Anyways Happy Australia Day guys. 😊
Elizabeth, what a great idea re the signage. Sadly I think there are just too many locations but you are right that simple sign in these cases could mean the difference between life and death. Something to ponder there. As for child support well it’s simply a fact that the courts remove a fathers rights so easily and in many cases without a care for the effect on the father. It is one of the biggest causes of male suicide. Until this changes the body count will continue sadly. Thanks for watching, we genuinely appreciate every viewer. Whitey & Paul
@@hogscogsandtwoaussieflogs thank you for your prompt reply. I want to add, l am here in anyway to help, whether for future fund raising events. I also just got my motorbike licence November 2023. I lost 34 kilos which both are empowering. My motto is "make things happen" 🌼💖🌼💖
Lastly: l have a question!! Why do we not have a minister for men when there is one for women? This is where l am so passionate. I have to somehow make a difference 💛
Hi Whitey & Paul don't you just love Danny . Just like him aged 73 I am a tearful guy but rather that than be hard nosed. It Hurts me to say this ( not really ) but having owned a couple of Harleys in quick succession ( more bad news for you I am back on a GS ) I know just how great the HOG community is for helping each other and others so I would definitely recommend if someone is feeling lonely for them to buy one. Dare I say it many of my best friends ride them. Sadly I live in a part of the UK where there is a notorious suicide spot so we very often hear of those who have taken their own lives. Danny's saying about suicide just transfers the pain is so so true. If your reading this and feeling down please pick up the phone and call a help line or talk to a friend. Whitey without that beard you have found the elixir of youth so make sure you behave yourself. Love you guys great video.
As covid wound up I had to leave my client, it hurt. Still does. Tiler. Worse is that I reinvested back into tools, so I could finish our house I pulled apart. Knowing I needed this client to fund putting home back together. Such is. Don't have any friends. Have kids that believe in me. An a wife that deserves a home finished. Anyway got new pipes on bike. Wasted time riding the old ones. Everyone I've had appointments with I've asked for guidance. Still yet to find it.
You have a wife, so you certainly have a friend, one you are willing to sacrifice for. But don't forget to make time for you, get out on a ride with a SMC, you will meet new people, amongst them I can guarantee you will find one of two real friends. I can speak from experience, one meeting can change your life.
I think we do a bit of both, life’s not all beer and skittles unfortunately and some people need help to get through it, if we can help by raising awareness then I think we’re doing our job, plenty of fun stuff coming up though
.well done
Cheers mate

I believe in this current world that would be either sexist or misogynistic.
