In the next town to me, a tiny little town called Yarra Junction, two electric vehicle charging stations, were installed outside the footy club rooms about 18 months ago. I have never once seen anyone use them.
We agree 100%, we are looking at a couple of options, but I think the only way to have it removed would be to start a class action against the Govt for discriminating against motorcyclists as we are forced to pay 100% of the levy and only cause a minority of the collisions.

Great show guys,Iove how the minister blames trucks for the road damage, how’s this make the roads properly for trucks and the trucks like b double need permits to run those roads so it’s governments that give permission for these trucks to run on that road, FYI a B-double pays around $10,000 for rego so we pay our way
100% Adam, as we stated, the Govt knows what and how many vehicles are registered and their rego is certainly collected with vigor, but they still fail to utilise those funds and provide a safe environment for Victorian motorists. It’s a disgrace.
Hey guys, I became one of those who think it will never happen to me after I left Saturday’s event at GHD. Yeah right! I’m always wary of my surroundings and traffic. But all it takes is one impatient and blind idiot in a 4WD to fail to give way and I’m lying on the road with a broken arm and my bike damaged and I get the old line, sorry I didn’t see you. We can have all the gear and heads on a swivel and it will still happen. After this and a minor bingle where the driver in front of me braked suddenly. I’m starting to think about my future and whether riding is in it. Yet another thought provoking video guys.
Firstly, shit sorry to hear about your bingle. We believe “I didn’t see him” is a clear admission of guilt and should be treated as such. You have to make a decision based on your experiences but we do hope you return to riding sometime in the future. Great show guys, roads in central west nsw ain’t much better unfortunately. Local council are putting all money into flowers / fairy lights and poles to hang flags on but spiked our rates by 28% from last year.

The road between Cann river and Bombala is no better than,I rode up there a couple of months ago ,hit what could only be described as a mountain in the middle of the lane ,shot me across into the other lane ,there death traps waiting to happen!!!

Woodend Tylden Road esp. the 40km zone end has been in poor condition for near 3yrs now. I THINK VicRoads split, VicRoads for Metro and RRV for Regional. I would assume the funding was reduced/altered at the same time. We pay fuel excise/rego don't we? Where does all of that go? More investigation is needed.

I just want milk that tastes like real milk The roads are made cheaply. That is why they are deteriorating I drive B-doubles. Our rego covers any deterioration that our trucks may cause. Build the roads properly & they won't deteriorate
@hogscogsandtwoaussieflogs no mate the problem is they are not doing the job properly in the first place. It starts with flat compact ground. Then, a decent road-based, compacted properly. Then, a thick layer of bitumen. You saw it yourself. Less than an inch of bitumen. Then, when the road starts falling apart, they spray bitumen into it, instead of filling it Then compacting it properly with a whacker. First vehicle that drives over it, breaks it apart. I drive Nth Qld to Melbourne almost every week. Have done so for decades. My dad was a truckie before that. He also drove a tipper on a road gang. I saw how they built & repaired roads in the mid 80s. & I see how they do it these days
There's a couple of vids on here that pinpoint who the guys are in Harley management that are pushing this rainbow silliness. Good video guys. And yeah our lazy government here in NZ have given up fixing roads too, or they stick a half assed patch on it or....throw some stones over it and call it good.

The organisers of the Blessing of the Bikes have done nothing to help themselves! Their conduct in threatening legal action against the likes of churches who were inadvertently calling events "Blessing of the Bikes" without understanding any legal implications is an awful way to conduct business. A year or two ago I challenged the organisers about how much money went to Zaidees, and I was told that nothing had- it was going to administration costs. At one stage I was approached for my business to assist with one event, and the attitude from them was awful. They don't have a great reputation amongst many people for the way they conduct themselves. No one to blame but themselves.

Yep, always important to give that ticket for 4 km over the speed limit, or the speeding motorists may hit a pothole and be injured. Clearly their own fault! 🙄

Interesting view about corporations not pandering to the minority groups. I disagree with you though and understand and respect that Harley as a company are making a statement they are inclusive and progressive. Who are Harley’s new customers likely to buy their next generations of product, probably not me as a white middle aged dude, they’ve already got me, and you won’t buy their electric bikes so they need new customers otherwise they won’t exist to keep providing you and me support for our gas guzzlers or what ever fuel they swap in for existing ICVs. The millennials and particularly the gen Z ers have equality as a high value for them. Also as a motorcyclist we are a minority group who expect other road users and the government to make concessions to keep us safe and include us.

The power grid cannot support the power being consumed at the moment let alone being able to cope with umpteen million more charging stations required to power Ev’s and then there is the problem of child labour and the destruction of the environment to be able to mine the product to produce the batteries for the said vehicles, so again it’s not about Harley wanting to do the right thing or they would be developing cleaner less destructive methods of fuel cells for their new customers who are unfortunately blissfully unaware of how there green vehicles impact the planet in a true sense, hydrogen is the way to go but alas it being the most common element in the universe, there’s no money in it, get where we’re going now? Money, none of this is for the greater good, it’s about money, making sure they get the next tax break buy ticking the boxes of weak governments

Most charity rides here in Newcastle are a mandatory $20 entry. Plenty of bikers go and also buy raffle tickets, food and merchandise

This is not in relation to the Bud Light issue, if you watched the show you will see that. This 'round' of the controversy only started about 10 days ago, and it is in relation to their DEI policies. And no HD won't give a toss what we think, doesn't mean we won't report it.
