Good job brotha. I wouldn't call it a broken frame, but still could have been deadly. Of all the series the trip around the UK in cold May conditions on a hardtail chopper has been the most raw and best series yet since the Everest trip. The other series are great but this was up there with India.

Thats not a broken Frame. The rear guard was just fixed in a strange way. It was safe to ride ride back as you done it. I like it that you act fair to the builder. Its a nice bike that Loui build and you hired it on own risk.
Riding a hardtail chopper that many miles and in those conditions is not for sissies. Other than the annoying electrical problem that bike ran like a charm.
For sure, as someone else commented. It was built to ride to the pub not 1000’s of KM’s around tough roads and conditions haha the bike was sick. Just got dropped and the kick stand sensor fucked. I’d buy that bike in a heartbeat, tough as nails, all things considered

That was very fortunate to have spotted the break in the frame, that could've been lethal. I think you did great seeing as you not only had the weather against you but the bike being a temperamental as it was had to wear you down mentally not knowing if you'd actually get from A-B, glad you're safe.
Well handled by both of you, and lessons learnt. The baby chopper has had the adventure of a lifetime, and you have made memories with it. The show goes on....
Welding thick metal to thin sheet metal is possible, but very difficult to do safely. It should always be avoided where possible. The fender should be bolted through tabs welded to the frame, with rubber grommets. I would also add a doubler (an additional layer of sheet metal) to the fender to reinforce and spread the load over a wider area.
Glad you spotted that broken mount when you did, the prospect of a serious failure doesn't bear thinking about. This has been a fascinating series, hope it continues.
Yeah, I love this episode. Reminds me of traveling through Europe on my Buell. Losing parts and oil everywhere. I once heard a loud whining sound while passing a bus with tourists in busy traffic. I was like, " Hey, this high-pitched sound... can't be my bike making this racket. But I was wrong, broke a stud of the exhaust which got caught on top of the drive belt. But luckily, you meet the nicest people when you are in need of repairs.

Well done Danny and that baby chopper, that rear guard is an easy fix for him a new clutch leaver and because you had it and proved its capability and easy sell, stay safe
Tools to bring with a custom Harley. Bailling wire, Zip ties, and J.B. Weld. Good job you made it, in the end that's all that matters. The amount of fun you have, depends on your ability to adapt and over come, and attitude. Looks like you did good.
Danny You need a Certified Harley Tech to go along on your adventures brother. Louy is right about the modern bikes, and I love his shirt, I have a modern Street Glide, but also have a 1980 80ci Shovel powered Super Glide that I often ride also.
The bike did well for a hard tail chopper on those potholed roads. Obviously the weight of the bags strapped onto the mudguard and the constant pummelling of the hard tail caused the mount to fail but I thinks it is a great bike despite the issues. Great series and it is sad to see the bike go I think it has a personality as big as Danny’s.
Totally awesome trip Danny, its a pity the fender holder had broken, But you are truly a inspirational bloke and was so lucky you spotted the break when you did a blown tyre is not a good thing, Proud of you getting out there for the riding experience and adventures you bring to us, Keep up the awesome adventures and videos Brother... A real shame about your trip being cut short. I feel for you about the bike. But you handled yourself well. Everytime a nightmare appeared you just got on with the job. Well done 👍
Sportsters are great bikes, I own a sporty superlow and am part of a sportster group, and with all the different variations you can have and the customisations they are bikes full of character and soul representing what it means to be living on 2 wheels. They are fun and watching all of his vlogs on the UK trip just goes to show what can be achieved.👍
Great Video like always! Have you ever thought about that if your Nikebag would not have been stolen, that extra weight could have worsened your frame/rear wheel situation?! I’m no Hippie but it seems that everything happens for a reason 😬 Thanks for sharing your awesome adventures Stay safe
Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise. It certainly would have made the bag balancing act much more difficult for that last stretch. Good observation ✌️
Try replacing the diodes in the fuse box if there are any. They are cheap and will prevent the bike from starting or make it hard to start. They plug in just like a fuse, but note the direction of the arrow on the the top of the diode before replacing if you don’t have the owners manual.
Really enjoyed your trip with all the highlights and low points, it’s what running an old bike is all about. You are never sure if you will make it to the destination.
An EPIC VLOG! One of the best yet. The worse it gets the better the story! Louie should post a video on what the electrical problem actually was. Not that impressed with the HD tech's, they kept you going but I'm not convinced they got to root cause.
Your a legend brother so lucky you had a look and found that issue before copping a tyre blowout. That would have been hectic.Stay safe and cant wait for your next vlog.
excellent vlog Danny, shame about the baby chopper breaking your balls so much but then again it,s what makes a great vlog. can,t wait to see the next video and to see what your riding next, and to see how the trip to L.A goes, dying to see you meeting up with Dave and Vee. keep on keeping on m8.
Awesome Danny - love it - nice to see your respectful approach to the bike and the guy you rented from - respect due mate. Keep these great videos coming 👍
Wasn't the frame. It was the bracket that held the rear fender on. Actually for being converted to a hard tail, it's very surprising that more than just that bracket didn't break.
What a classic ending to a great ride Boss! The guy you got the bike from was fantastic and understood how things can go wrong with a build. The Show Must Go On!👍

One of my favorite sayings is “embrace the suck”. You sure are accomplished at that!!!
After watching many of Danny's VOLGs,you will hear,,,'Show must go on',,,yep may be last long trip but a short trip to the deli still brings a smile to my face, keep riding Sass
It’s a wiring fault, will always cause random hard to detect faults. Breakdown in insulation or broken wire in a loom which is intermittent, real PITA
YIKES!...that weld was not only holding your bags but your carcass too...you AND your luggage were being supported by a faulty weld...you're a lucky man Hoss.
Oh yeah...good video Big Dan.
Technical problems are always something simple. You may have found it. Bitter sweet. The frame looks easy fixed in the workshop. Success is in the vlog. Danny you help so many people mate. I'm always looking forward to the next one. Awesome mate.
It served you well for the trip all things considered
A real shame about your trip being cut short.
I feel for you about the bike.
But you handled yourself well.
Everytime a nightmare appeared you just got on with the job.
Well done 👍
Harley Dealership - tut tut. Onwards and Upwards Mr. H. Great Vlog !!
Admire your commitment. Bike falling apart rear tyre melting still continued. Hardcore...
I’m no Hippie but it seems that everything happens for a reason 😬
Thanks for sharing your awesome adventures
Stay safe
Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise. It certainly would have made the bag balancing act much more difficult for that last stretch. Good observation ✌️
Oh Danny boy, you are a great human. Your true and honest and a man of character.
Danny you are inspirational, just started watching this series and throughly loved them, have subscribed and will start watching your other stuff. 👍🏻
How do you not have a million subscribers yet man this stuff is gold!!!
Great Job Danny! Please keep sharing your Rides. Dan, from NJ, USA
Superb danny have loved this series. How the hell did Harley Glasgow not spot that on tyre!!!!
Try replacing the diodes in the fuse box if there are any. They are cheap and will prevent the bike from starting or make it hard to start. They plug in just like a fuse, but note the direction of the arrow on the the top of the diode before replacing if you don’t have the owners manual.
I'm so glad that you both were good sports about the whole ordeal n no punch up.
all the problems seemed to start after you dropped it at the hotel as i remember, ,don't ruin the guy, lol,, just saying👍👍
Agreed, and the heavy rain didn't help either. Danny put that bike through it's paces. LOL 😆
not true, all the problems started with this bike the moment it left the factory.
@@candymintz I stand corrected then,, but..
@St John Smythe ok squid!🤣
Hey Danny, Louie is a cool guy but I wouldn't ride that thing around the block let alone the distance you rode it. Well done. (love the piano music).
That is a hell of a trip😱 thank God you stayed save 🙏🤗
One of your best trips ever fantastic loved the bike you should have purchased it & taken it back home what a adventure.
Borrow a drill and bit, drill 1 or 2 holes at the rusty bit, and baling wire the fender up to the stump. Easy.
Never waited in anticipation for the next video from a youtuber as much... Awesome content, top bloke...
I'm surprised that Glasgow Harley didn't notice that tire and investigate. You were lucky to see it and check under the seat.
Your a legend brother so lucky you had a look and found that issue before copping a tyre blowout. That would have been hectic.Stay safe and cant wait for your next vlog.
always carry an assortment of cable ties with you especially on a journey like this, they are a must in any tool kit.
Faaaark, lucky Danny. Great series mate. Well done and even fitter then when you started. Live fast every day except Sunday. Worked for me.
Excellent series Danny, keep up the hard work 👍💪
excellent vlog Danny, shame about the baby chopper breaking your balls so much but then again it,s what makes a great vlog. can,t wait to see the next video and to see what your riding next, and to see how the trip to L.A goes, dying to see you meeting up with Dave and Vee. keep on keeping on m8.
Awesome Danny - love it - nice to see your respectful approach to the bike and the guy you rented from - respect due mate. Keep these great videos coming 👍
Wish you the best Danny.
That was real life. Farmer 35 years..always watch your gear. Well done mate
Really the Frame snapped because it rusted out. Totally amazing and lucky you found it then and not while riding.
The Show Must Go On!👍
Always honest fun by a proud extrovert. Long may he continue.
Loving the epic vlog so far Danny. I hope you continue your adventure to Ireland to experience the vast vastness of the country. 👌👌
