Henry the Great Long live Henry You were the best
This is the true All Time Home Run Leader.
You know it...
Always will be
You got that right.
We won't get into Ruth having been an everyday hitter from day One instead of predominantly being a pitcher for 5 years... Could have had 800.. Hank earned it via late career excellence & long term consistency. He was a great player.
@@edwardanthony7283 ...Very true Ed...Also, Babe had a lifetime .342 BA so, there's that too!
Thank you so much for sharing this rare interview with Joe t o r r e. Just validates what we all knew about Hank Aaron being a class guy. Rest in peace Hank and now up to us to carry on implementing the values that you shared with us. God bless from Patrick
Hank Aaron is the All Time HR Champ. Forget about Barry Bonds and his PED inflated numbers.
barry bonds hit his home runs and they do count but he's not hank aaron.
@@marcyfan They count if you're cheating. I go according to players who played the game right without the benefit of performance enhancing drugs.
Great interview with a great person about a great person.
Great interview very informative
Joe came up in Milwaukee with Hank Aaron already a team standout.
Great interview!
Torre was HOF worthy before he became a manager...
absolutely, 1971 NL MVP as the cherry on top
Well said Johnny Bench, well said
“That’s about it guys”, what was it Joes bedtime?
I would have loved to sing what type of numbers Hank Aaron would have put up if he was playing on an even playing field able to stay in hotels able to eat at restaurants no threatening letters to him or his family.if the Rolls- reversed I don't believe a white man on this Earth could have did what Hank Aaron did no way couldn't do it
Joe was no slouch with the stick himself. .297 career average is damn good.
Should be in the Hall of Fame.
1971 NL MVP as well, one of a few great manager/great ball player combos in the history of the game . . . he could have made it as a player as well but his managerial career with the Yankees stands out as elite
@@kevintucker466 Not as a player but not as far away as others in his era. He was a near .300 career hitter with an average mitt.
@@kevintucker466 You forgot his 5 years with the Mets!
There is something so insufferable about Evan's personality.
l only check out these videos regarding carton and evan. kay show has proven to be superior. never really cared for evan, but he looks pitiful all hunched over and wearing a mask in an empty area, and he rarely gets a chance to talk...carton should be on his....... own and find another spot for evan...hes lost with carton.......God bless henry aaron, ultimate class and talent...RIP
Awwww, MAGAt triggered by somebody wearing a mask.
@@Don-md6wn not political!.....not a fan of his and a mask while sitting alone is foolish...
@@robertlavorna2968 To be fair, there are probably producers and other people coming in and out of the studio. Just because the camera is on him doesn't mean someone else isn't sitting five feet away. I agree the way it's shot looks silly though.
