Great video, thanks. According to my experience it also helps if the slot is horizontal not vertical as gravity will try to keep the nuts from turning into the right position when you tighten them.

I thought there's no other way than bruteforcing damn things until they are in place. But I also remembered that the internet can actually be useful if operated correctly. And voila: they are easy to mount with appropriate clearance, and can self-align. Thank you so much for this vid.

    It Works! IT WORKS!
My biggest problem with the inexpensive 3d prints!
I would add that if you loosen a t-nut, just do the whole back out and screw in.
    Brilliant!!!

The trick is to make sure that the ROUND part of the nut is facing the rails and the FLAT part is facing the screw.

It should probably be said that there are different types of T nuts. Those look like the ones you’d see on amazon but if you ordered from a place like Misumi this may not work. Great video btw!

I figured that out but unfortunately most of the time the t nut will never turn. I find that shaking the tool in a circular motion while turning will allow it to turn. That is the only extra thing that I do.

How do you align 90 degree corner brackets with two ALU extrusions? I try to do my best, but it's never perfect, it always leaves like 0,1 - 0,2 mm space in between...
