In the same boat, had a HTS+ 4K and been the best mouse from my limited collection (minus the front flare). Had to return, due to a defect. Been searching for a new winner ever since. Anticipating Viper V3 Pro, OP1WE, LA-1, VXE R1 Ultra, and NP-01S as top candidates. Shout out EGG xm2we. It's a perfect shape for larger claw/palm grip players. If/when I get the spare money, I wanna try the Pulsar X2H, LOVED the OG X2 but that extra hump height could perfect the shape for me. Also wanna try the new Xlite V3, looks like an Ergo King up there with the Thorn Being a big fan of the xm2we I obviously am keen to try the Lamzu Atlantis/Mini. Ended up being an excellent year for gaming mice!
believe it or not but i retired my gpx 1 for my starlight 12 tenZ edition. Originally I bought the TenZ mouse as a collector however I found myself performing really well on it while playing valorant. I compared the 2 mice while in the firing range doing the same simulations and I just flat out performed better on my starlight 12. I hate destroying this mouse with wear and tear because now I have some paint chipping off the corner of my LMB from accidently hitting my keyboard a few times (running out of mouse pad space)
The viper v3 shape is great. Unfortunately like everyone else ha mentioned then placement of the sensor and the unbalance with the battery in the rear is a real deal breaker.
LOL no Lanzu thorn, not even the GPX which everyone copies. No Vaxee Outset. Razor v3 is not a great shape and weighs 86g, yet you have it #1. Final mouse is pure garbage and belongs on trash tier fan boi list.
Dunno why, but always thought of Logitech as a low to mid-tier brand. You know, flimsy headphones, cheap desktop pc speakers, etc. But... The Superlight Pro is the best mouse I have ever had. So maybe my perception of Logitech is stuck back in the 90s and 00s.
Razer Viper Mini SE is the GOAT, Ive been testing mice since late 90's and since getting the VMSE ive still tried the newest mice and still nothing has beat it for me. I got #87 and my copy was perfect with zero issues whatsoever and its been my main since.
I dont get the hate for the holes though, they dont cause discomfort unless someone is really just that soft and they dont ruin the mouse with dust like some people seem to think happens. Anyhow always good to see your videos pop up and I always enjoy watching them. @@BTaesthetics
Great video BT! Have you tried the Engame Op1we? I'm curious what you think about the build and shape. I'm pretty impressed with how well built it is and the shape.
#1 is 82g, that's pretty heavy considering it's the same exact shape as the logitech superlight, basically a downgrade. Implication here is gpx 2 is king. Yes gpx is boring af but still king, I don't have a gpx 2 but maybe in the future.
For my bigboi hands and claw/palm hybrid grip I like the ROG Harpe Ace. It's not the best mouse, but its shape just works for me. Better than the RVU/DA Pro for me. Interested to see how the UltralightX L fairs.
Love the Viper V3, pairing it with an Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA battery + some dot feet and it's around 72-73 grams, great weight for me personally. The forward sensor position didn't bother me that much, really enjoy it!
I’ve been using the HTX 4k for awhile now but I’m looking to upgrade to a Ultralight X small my hand size is 17.75 x 9 cm with a relaxed claw palm grip style is this a good move?
I just ordered the G wolves HTX 4k😄I lately been main'ing the Pulsar x2 mini and Lamzu atlantis mini, they are great mice, but i want a wireless small mouse that are a little more flat profil( more similar to a Zowie FK2/Glorious model O small)
I have big hands and my favorite mice is the g502 x lightspeed, I tried other light weight mice like the Model 0 and the Pulsefire Haste 2 but I just like the how the g502 fits in my hand. I use a fingertip grip btw.
New to kbm and currently using the deathadder v3 pro however, what I have noticed is that everyone hates on the super light but it’s in most people’s top 5. I think I will pick one up and maybe the glorious d2 pro.
I know the deathadder v2 series is outdated but the shape of it is literally perfect. I want to buy the deathadder v2 x hyperspeed but I don't know if I want to because of the build quality and it has a reputation of breaking after a couple of months. I'm also inclining towards the glorious model D pro, but it's a hefty buck for it. I love ergonomic mice, especially when it looks like the deathadder. any suggestions, anyone?
GPX feels like a damn potato in my hand. I picked it up last year to see what all the fuss was about and was incredibly underwhelmed. It is a great all-purpose mouse but for gaming it is bottom tier for my preferences. Picked up the Endgame Gear op1we last month and it is basically perfect for my claw/fingertip hybrid grip style, I don't even feel a need to explore other shapes for now despite the X2H being intriguing.
My mice seem to always die for one reason or another, so i tend to lean towards brands that last me longer. I’ve switched to a system where theres always two on my desk, so if one dies I can quickly order a new one.
The Viper V3's shape is nice but ultimately it's not really better than the Superlight and the weight balancing due to the battery and the sensor position are really difficult to get used to.
I broke my Aria in a rather embarassing way around a year ago and bought the DAV3 because I wanted to try the ergonomic shape. I've been maining it ever since the purchase as I don't want to spend more money for a new mouse. But the shape just feels so awkward to me. Like it'll start to feel really good when you've been playing for a while but if you just slap your hand down the mouse it just feels so awkward. Maybe it's because I've got small Asian hands but I don't know.
I am shocked I don’t already follow you, because THANK GOD somebody gets it!!! I will literally dodge a top tier mouse solely on the silhouette. Honestly the same is important not just for feel, but sex appeal!
Havent really gotten any new mice lately but im still rocking the mz1 wireless modded except for battery got it down to about 54g more or less with second pair of stock feet(until it feels bad i got corepadz waiting) and a few small hex pieces of super grips from pulsar for the pinky and thumb hands down best grip and is nice that the precut had small pieces to use. With the low hump the regular hump gains like 2g more or so but i change them depending on how im feeling and the game im playing but mainly the low hump. Still great since the mods for my aim been the most consistent.
I have thorn. Good shape but for me asus ace harpe is better. Also the skates or the position give me less consistence with the thorn. Good to hand not so good for me in the results...
The GPX shape is so slept on. A lot almost imply that it's mediocre yet its a big reason for it being the #1 esports mouse. I've been going down the mouse rabbithole for a few years now. Got like 30 mice. The GPX is still #1. Just sits in my palm the best. Recently been getting into wider mice that are kind of comparable to the GPX. The Waizowl OGM PRO and Lamzu Thorn are absolute bangers. Wish both were a bit longer. Now in a waiting room for the Vaxee NP01 Wireless(not S). Might be endgame
Nah, theres one reason its the highest used esports mouse, and that is logitech throwing a shit ton of money at pro teams. Why u think navi played on those low profile mechanically keyboards? They’re objectively horrendous for FPS gaming.
I gotta give it to the GPW/X for being an ambi shape so good that it made me switch after only maining ergo shapes all my life because ambi shapes never quite felt right for my hand, and it ended up feeling better for me than all the ergo mice I've used.

Lamzu has done a great job with their shapes. In fact all the ones you named are top tier. Thanks for watching Randy!
the Viper v3 shape is S tier, but I couldnt get used to the sensor position. I really hope they keep the shape for the pro
Gotta go with my G PRO Superlight for favorite shape. I got the original GPW on launch and it's my most used shape bar none.
OP1we is the best shape I've had so far. Now testing Maya but I don't think that it will replace OP1, Maya is too wide.
Whats your hand size? Actually looking at these two options, 18x9.5cm relaxed claw.
