A mate's girlfriend was ill and couldn't make a Counting Crows gig so he invited me along. I knew of them but not much more. Watching them live and I was converted. My mind was blown.
I didn’t appreciate my dad’s taste in music until I listened to the Counting Crows. 🙌
One of my top 5 favourites.
Not even a huge fan of the band. But what the fuck that was one of the incredible vocal performances I’ve seen on the show. Like. What the hell did I just watch.
Go listen to August and Everything After…masterpiece…older you get the more you’ll appreciate it
CC were always on the radio, probably didn’t help their reputation to be so overplayed. But they are a good band.
