IMO, WOW these PURE TONES sound Exceptional. Being I'm a total guitar effects processor user the past 17 years adding the following features: tuner, compressor, wah (using expression pedal), rotary, octaver, intelligent harmonizer, transpose in semi-tones, stereo outputs, would take this market by storm. I among many other players world wide would buy one instantly. Fractal, Helix, Boss, Headrush, Kemper, Quad Cortex have all the effects imagineable but Lack PURE Tone which is TOTALLY acheived in the BS200. Hoping this comes to be one day soon. 😃
Hi ....just wondering if you ever had an issue with the bank being stuck on the number 56. I tried to reset the unit by pressing fx access and store, then on. However it doesn't clear the bank so it can be used to step up or step down channels on the Hughes Kettner floor amp. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. John
If I am using a “powered”monitor speaker, FRFR, is my only option to connect a speaker to the headphones jack? It doesn’t look like you can connect a powered speaker to the speaker connections.
I think there was a missed opportunity to make this unit full stereo. So in other words have the power amp be dual 2 x 100 watts output. Then stereo effects processor in the post loop would be full stereo. 😉
So…I have the Black Spirit 200 and if I try to connect it to my power cab ( Line 6 Super Cab Plus) the amp doesn’t turn on. The blue lights, light up for about 1 second, then it powers off. Anyone else having this issue? It works just fine with conventional guitar cabs, but this one won’t. Is it because I need to use an XLR cable when using an Fr Cab? Any help would be great on this!
If I understand you correctly the super cab is an Active speaker, wich means that it haves its own amplification, If you are connecting the Black Spirit to the power cab from the speaker output if wont work! The amplifier detects that it isn’t a passive speaker, so it turns off. You need to plug it from the Line/Phones Output (Volume Controlled by the Master Knob) in order to use it with a 6.3 (Plug) Cable, or from the XLR output with the redbox turned on so you dont damage your speaker, NEVER connect the powered output of the amp to an active speaker, its only for passive speakers, And also beware of the Ohm’s, The amp only handles 16 or 8 ohms, inform yourself more about that, I hope that you can solve your issue!!! I guess we solved that "thing" on FB & INSTA ... your "56" is our "Sb" which means "Stomb box" (Stomb box mode)

A tuner and a compressor are the two effects that are sorely missing. Please add to the MKII version!

They just don't make anything cheap. Such an innovative company dedicated to the highest quality sound.
