Reminds me of the other story where the NASA engineer had a demonic spirit in his home, but he hasn't sold the house because he doesn't want anyone else to suffer through what he's been going through. He's remained in that house for 18 years (as of the posting of the MrBallen story).

But wouldn't destroying it inevitably release whatever it was that was sealed in there? I wouldn't sell it, though. I'd probably give to the local church and have them deal with it. At the very least, they will have some inkling as to how it should be handled. That's why it was odd to me why they didn't contact the church, or in this case, a Rabbi immediately.

He told the first couple that the box caused weird shit to happen and they bought it anyway. The second group of people who bought it literally read in the listing something like, "this box is haunted, buy at your own risk," and the people bought it. He gave both buyers fair warning so it's really not his fault that they had bad shit happen to them

Yeah I saw some videos about it explaining it was a made-up and didn't really happen. Not sure what actually happened, I can't prove these paranormal things are not real, so ill be open minded and believe that sometimes these things do happen, but sometimes people like to make it up too. But yeah while I do believe in the paranormal(cause I experienced it before), this might have been another fictional story like many have been around sadly inducing people into believing in hoaxes.
I appreciate how Jason and his wife were the only ones who didn’t want to put the box on someone else to save themselves.

It was revealed to be fake in 2021.
If anyone is curious, Kevin said in 2021 that he made the whole thing up and created the curios in the box himself. The box is actually in a personal museum (never got involved with a Rabbi). It was just an incredible internet hoax.

The Dybbuk Box was last known to be kept by Lorraine and Ed Warren at The Warrens Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut (which was closed after the passing of Lorraine) it's currently owned by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy Warren & Tony Spera.The museum displayed many claimed haunted objects including the Dybbuk Box, but to date it's not clear if they will reopen or not. It's also unclear if the Dybbuk Box is still with the collection or not.
Last I heard it was at Zak Baggins museum in Vegas

You know the people who've actually experienced these things probably didnt give this much detail themselves so he is most likely making up 1/4 or 1/2 of it up. Mr ballen if you're reading this please let us know how much of it is true

Thanks for the tip, Mr Ballen. Both of my children were excited about the latest solar eclipse. I did what you said and both of their corneas were instantly vaporized.
But it hasn't been all bad having blind children. They don't ask for every toy when an ad is played, they don't run around the house anymore and Christmas shopping is so much easier.
I got some shoes, for myself. Took the box and stuck it in another box. Wrapped it up and as my kids were touching it and asking what it was, I told them it was the newest Xbox out right now. When they want to TRY and play it, I put on Walk-through videos for any game they wana play.
Thanks for saving me thousands on unnecessary toys. But I wouldn't mind some help for the millions in hospital bills, visits, ect. Not to mention, they heard(because they hear EVERYTHING now. Like having two bat kids) about the first successful eye transplants. Now I got them asking for new eyes... Geez, a shoe box Xbox isn't enough. Cant Dad get a little appreciation? He has a true mastery of storytelling. I can imagine back in the old days where elders would gather children to campfires to share tales of yore. Mr Ballen is bringing back an age old tradition. It truly is amazing that human beings love to share and tell stories. because we are so wrapped up in technology we immediately dismiss a good story for a good selfie. But yes, I am certainly like you Odin and I can respect the mad skillz it takes for him to wrap us up in his storytelling.

Im a security guard and I listen to these at night while I'm driving the patrol car. I listened to this one around 3 in the morning and I started to get legitimately creeped out. Such a great storyteller it almost feels like I'm watching a movie when I listen to your stories! Great job Mr Ballen love your channel had to subscribe

sleep paralysis is terrifying even without hallucinations so i can’t even imagine how horrible it is to not only see something but get physically hurt
It is like, your arm paralyzed feeling. But your whole body and you hear random noises. and the same thing when it fades like arm paralyzed fade. I just had my eyes closed fuuck that.
I had a few episodes but I was never able to even open my eyes. So I didn't see anything, literally. Didn't hear anything either, but I was able to break out of it. Unfortunately as soon as I started to fall back asleep I was paralyzed again. Finally I was able to wake up from it but I couldn't sleep after that. That was years ago. Seemed to be a phase for me, god willing. I always felt like I was half asleep while trying to wake up the rest of my mind and body.
Had it often, not pleasant but if you know what happens you just stop carrying.
The first time I experienced sleep paralysis, it was traumatic I don't want to go back to sleep. But after researching about it, it's bearable. The scary thing is whenever I experience it, there is always this black human figure and it's hard to breathe. And personally I experience that when I'm exhausted before sleeping.
I’ve had it on and off for years. It’s awful. I can never open my eyes, sometimes I feel like I can just lift my head off the pillow before it smashed back down again and if anyone saw I’d probably look like I was having a fit. Every time I would hear a really strange and loud humming noise and once I heard a massive flock of birds flying over the house and managed to move when the ‘birds’ were right above my house and it stopped instantly.
I only get it when I’m having my spouts of insomnia and it’s only when I’m trying to go to sleep, never when I’m waking up (getting it while waking up is much more common)
Mr. Ballen is the ONLY person that I can actually just LISTEN to tell stories without a video for it, and not lose interest.
