Mirepoix with addition of tomato purée creates an intensely flavoured mixture (pinçage). Then following your instructions, Giulia, results are sure to be Ab Fab!
I have been making these cubes after watching your video, and they make the BEST vegetable bullion! It's so rich and flavorful, I only wish I knew about this a long time ago. Thank you!!
Definitely going to make these cubes! This is wonderful! The recipe is so versatile and you can control the amount of salt or anything. Such a good idea! Thank you so much!
Complimenti Giulia. A differenza dei dadi preconfezionati trovo che questi siano davvero salutari e mooolto più gustosi. Un ingrediente che non farei mai mancare è la cipolla.
ooohh super nice!!! im going to do it, i don't have blender though. Maybe the herbs touch would be my option. Very helpful and nice recipe, as usual. Thank you very much!!! ♡♡
Grazie mille, Giulia! Ho condiviso la sua ricetta alla mia Mamma e la mia sorella. Questo autunno e inverno faccio questi dadini vegetariani con le spezie.
@@GiuliaArdizzone oh okay, because we have a Vitamix however Ive never put raw food into the blender figured it would be harsh on the machine but I will give it a try. Thank you 😀
Hi! I used 250 g of salt with 850 g of vegetables. Vegetable stock cubes are meant to replace salt in a dish. So when you use them, you will omit the salt and dose the right amount of cube. A very small piece can go a long way! I hope it helps.
@@SonOfJ based on the amount of food you cook, you add the proportional amount of cube necessary. If you are making a soup with a liter of water you need about 10 grams of salt or stock cube. If you are making more soup, you add more stock cube. In other words, you don't have to use the whole cube in every recipe. It depends on the amount of food you are making. I hope this clears things up!
Could you also use these cubes as a seasoning? You could make a paste with these cubes, add some olive oil and use the paste to season meat or chicken.
Hi Dave. I don't think so because it's very salty. It's supposed to substitute salt in broth and also provide flavour. You can use it to cook meat in it tho as long as you diluted with water. I hope it helps 😃
Thanks for a great video but why does everybody use sooo much salt. It is just unhealthy. Why not leave it out and add salt when cooking.. Nether the less a very good video. I will definatly make this but obviously without the salt. Regards, Paul.
In your opinion, what ingredient cannot be missing on vegetable stock cubes?
I like to always include onion, garlic and carrot.
@@vittorialuisasesta5416 And celery! (Sedano!) The trio that will make any soup a winning one!

Wow superb nice I like it
Awesome, I am glad :)
Thank you, this seems simple. Do we not need to boil the veggies first before adding to blender?
Roo & Misty my pleasure. You don't need to boil them, they get cooked well just in the pan 😉 thanks for watching ✨

Wow! How much salt did you use? Salt Seemed excessive, but maybe not?

@@GiuliaArdizzone That was something that I gulped at, excellent tutorial nonetheless.
@@GiuliaArdizzone that's about 8 times as much as a store bought stock cube. I think it could do with a little less honestly.

It actually doesn’t matter. I’ve used stock cubes as a seasoning forever, and it works.
Is it possible to lower the salt amount, my husband is diet restricted but I want to make fresh cubes so badly!
