I'm curious if I'd be able to make an underlit lamp with real coins, but suspended in the resin as if falling. My skills are likely not enough to make the concept work. I think it'd give a cool effect though. Maybe have a pile of coins at the bottom with an open spot for the light to come through so it'd make the coins sparkle.
I might just give it a try...
Thanks Nick. Awesome job. I wish you or someone with your enthusiasm and humor had been my wood shop teacher when I was in highschool back in the early 80s
Eating a chocolate you picked up off the floor just shows how clean you keep the floors😂. I like the table and the legs. DIY table just means that mistakes and errors are a bit of charm. Coins are mostly US because we started the chocolate coin thing. Used to be real coins.
That turned out really beautiful. Love the colorful coins stand out with the wood around it. How about some soft lights underneath to add more sparkle to it? Great video helped by the waffling. As a person that suffers from chronic anxiety and depression watching you and listening to you waffle on is calming and brightens my day, thanks.
Sure Nick you act like you couldn’t have done this while sleeping or something else leisurely but we know your talent. We know you could do it while sleeping but we all strongly discourage this as it would be dangerous but we know. You know we know. And we know you know you know. I mean, you inspire us all! Thanks. 😁😆
Thanks Again for another wonderful episode. My kids love to watch you because of all the cool things you make and the fact that you all ways look like your having so much fun. Thanks Again
22:18 illuminati confirmed lol
I personally suffer from depression and an anxiety disorder - if you don't know what that means, it's that I can have anxiety for situations I shouldn't have it in and don't have it sometimes for situations I should have it in. It's a bit confusing and I don't know how it compares to regular anxiety.
I also have ptsd, OCD, and ADD so a great bunch of things put together.
I know how things can go from better to worse but also from worse to better!
So as long as we keep fighting on, we got this! But if you feel you need assistance or a break, I highly recommend it. And don't just assume all therapists are the same, some work better with specific personalities and specific persons needs. So if you don't feel like it's working well with one then that's OK! Switch to another that suits your needs! :)
Also fantastic work on this table!! It came out absolutely amazing!
🙏🏽🙏🏽
Nick, that turned out gorgeous. The color of coins plus the stain, was spot on. Beautiful.
What is your favourite thing you have ever made?
I think the pencil ukulele 🥳🥳
Thank you for speaking about your mental health. I am a clinical therapist and I feel there is a tremendous, positive shift against the stigma of mental health, especially when people who have a platform speak on the topic.
Thank you for making me smile. it's been a rough week and your video just made it better.
I love that you're watching back to the future 3 in the background
This came out awesome. Loved seeing you try out new ideas. Looking forward to see how you got the resin so clear. Love the 3D effect.
It would be really cool to see you do a project with a bunch of rpg dice sets. You can find all kinds of fun colors and sizes.
Bottle caps would also be a really cool add in especially for a table or something flat.
I'm really glad you added the third layer of coins -- I really was hoping you would! It looks so good (halfway through). For the record, that's not the White House, it's the Lincoln Memorial, with Lincoln on the other side of the coin. extremely cool result!
Oooh i love this little table~ ps: I see your "other project" for the left over coins is called "binge eating them" ;D
Love your videos! My dad is a master wood worker so I really appreciate all the time and effort you put into your projects. I want to make some for myself they are so beautiful.
I do have anxiety and depression and try to speak out about it. Now I have another tool to help people get help. Thanks!
NICK YOU ARE A LEGEND YOU TAKE THE NORMAL AND MAKE IT AWESOMELY FUNKY THANK YOU FOR ALL THE FUNNY MOOMENTS AND THE AWESOME IDEAS THANK YOU!
I love this! The dimension is fun and beautiful! Well done on the legs too. They look great! (Did anyone else see the hidden Mickey in the orange coins?) 😊
Big thank you Nick for all of the videos and for the positivity you bring to the world with each 1. It's so fun, entertaining, and relaxing to watch and listen to you waffle on and make things. I love every video 🤛
That is AMAZING!
I'm so happy that the chocolate in the coins didn't melt.
I had the idea of trying out a Cadbury Cream Egg in resin, then shape it into an egg shape?
Maybe even add something around the outside to look like the wrapper, so it's an egg in an egg! 😃
You're actually one of my favorite RUclipsrs you're funny and you know what you're doing it's great
Hej from Denmark, love your channel, hope you show more of your restoration projects, give me a lot of inspiration, keep doing good things with all sorts of nick backs. 👍🇩🇰
This is a beautifully done table, congratulations on making your own set of legs for the table, 🎉🎉 That top is absolutely flawless, total awesome sauce on not having to sand that.🤩🤩💖
Zack you a real talent. GOD bless you with your hands.
Should make a second one and sell them together as a set of end tables ❤
Very funkadelic! Lovely to see wood working and staining! Love it! ❤️
Loved watching this project thoroughly. Your work is always fascinating and amazing. So entertaining too! I hope you never stop!
I've always known these as Hannukah Gelt. They started as little gifts at Hannukah. In the 1890's a great aunt in Philadelphia worked for a Jewish family. She introduced them to family and friends, as many others must have done. We always had them in our Christmas stockings.
I just adore Nick. He is just adorable.
Loved this build!!! That resin pour was flawless! Cheers! The 3D effect, and the color of the coins, man they just popped! Well Done!!
I love that you ended up making the legs! They look so much better ❤
The table looks awesome love the 3D effect so colourful.
I was so, so worried that there would be chocolate melting out of the aluminum, but I'm glad to see that wasn't the case. Awesome coffee table!
Love this project Nick! Very cute table and totally amazed the chocolate didn't melt. Looking forward, as always, to the next video. Thank you. Xx
This table is outstanding! Brilliant! Love watching you do these pieces!
This is freaking gorgeous!!! I don't believe it's your 1st time....it is too beautiful!!
Long time watcher. I found your videos about 4 years ago. :) My all time favorite is the pencil table.
