I would like to see you carry this project a bit farther. Make several "bowls" like you did the first one of gradually smaller sizes, and then nest them inside each other like a flower. Hey nick if you try this again I'd suggest trying one of those plastic kids pools as mold. I don't know if you would get separation with that type of plastic but you could line it. Nick, have you thought about using a small, hard plastic kiddie pool, lining it with a very large sheet of thick plastic (one sheet to cover the whole bottom and walls of the pool)? This should prevent leaks and the resin separating due to creases from separate sheets of plastic.

Nick - here's another idea: First off, I DEFINTELY think you should give this another go. But, how about this so you don't have to pry the whole sheet of free-form resin off a large plastic sheet - devise the platform in such a way that when the right time comes to mold the resin over a form, you can raise a form up from the underneath the platform!! Kind of like cutting a large hole in a sheet of plywood where the plywood is the flat surface where you cover it with the plastic sheeting material, place the forming structure underneath the plywood, pour the resin then in about 2-4 days (I guess) raise the form up through the hole. This would lift the resin up and you could simply push it down around it and then let it sit again until it hardens - thoughts??? :-)) Kevin

I thought they looked like the venetian blown glass objects you can see in a museum! Would love to have one and put a small battery light in it at night!

WHILE IT WAS soft, you could have folded it over and over onto itself (Lake Damascus steel) until you got it the right size for a good blank... and then turned it on the lathe into something really cool. 🐂🤠🐂
Beautiful example of happy accidents and live and learn. I love the way the creases look on the end product, even if they got in the way of your initial vision. They look a little bit like candy too, which I think makes them look so much cooler.
Love all the vases that came out of this experiment. They would be so cool to put candles in and the colours would reflect back onto walls and other features around the house. Just wondering if you have to peel it off the original backing sheets, as I think it might help just to lift it off the floor with the backing sheet still attached and then you wouldn’t be adding stress to the resin by pulling it apart. The only problem I can think of would be that when it creases and sets it might catch some of the backing sheet between the resin and it would be harder to remove the plastic.
I think the wholes, creases and 'imperfections' make them even more beautiful!! You did a great job on these, I can't wait to see what you come up with next! ♥️♥️

Super fun idea. I was thinking a great mold would be a small kiddie pool. Ends would be all the same then dropped over a large flower pot. Put a few plugs in the entropy. When completely dry remove the plugs and BOOM! a weird giant and gorgeous flower pot. Just a idea 💡 I sure would love to see that done.
They're very funkadelic 😎 I love the colors and whimsical shapes. Not every plan goes the way we expect, but that doesn't mean we won't get some kind of fantastic art at the end❤❤

The colors are wonderful! Maybe you should do this again, then fold everything up, put it in a bucket or a big pvc pipe. Then fill it up with a bright color resin and then see what you can make out of it.

I think they are absolutely beautiful! It may not have turned out the way you want them but the art in it is absolutely amazing! I think you did a great job!!
I see these and automatically envision what type of candle would go with them. These all turned out GORGEOUS
Love the Resin bowls, very beautiful!!! Gifted Sir!!!
I love the texture that the plastic sheets made. it is very intriguing
Love this "fractured glass" art. Very good sir as usual 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😊😊😊
It looks like an old handkerchief bowl like they used to make out of glass.
This one is cool, my hubby and I rooted for you, we really hoped it would have worked out. I hope you try again. They're so beautiful.
I like how the colors turned out, how the cling wrap made cool textures and how you created a lot of fun shapes!
I'd like to see you explore this more, and or try again. It's really awesome.
Always love that you think outside the box and try something different, may not have turned out as you first imagined, they do still look pretty funky!
Awesome!!! Those of us in the creative world call this happy mistakes. Turned out amazing!
The biggest one would make a great lampshade for a floor lamp....it would look as if the shade was/had melted and was dripping down. The two on the far right, the orange one and the blue and orange one, would be excellent for a jewelry trays...places for bracelets, necklaces etc to hang from,. I love all of them; each is unique and different. It gives each person looking at it an opportunity to find out what THEY see in it. Love it.
I love how the colors turned out. They all are very cool.
What a cool technique - I think my grandmother had a bowl like this, made of textured glass! There's all sorts of stuff you could do with this - make moulds, stack them in multiple layers, etc. I hope you explore this further!
Very cool. I like how you show your attempts and that not everything works as planned.
Learning what not to do Can be just as useful as what to do. Very cool idea
These pieces would make a beautiful light fixture. I really enjoy your videos.
They all turned out fabulous but my favorite one is the big one. It is absolutely gorgeous! I'm glad your original plan didn't work out. You ended up with some beautiful pieces.
Beautiful ❤️ you don't need everything to be perfect it's pretty great and out seems you had a lot of fun 😊 love videos like this keep posting we love you 🥰
YES YES YES!!
I'VE BEEN DYING TO SEE YOU GO CRAZY WITH THE RESIN..... I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU DO THIS AGAIN BUT ON AN EVEN LARGER SCALE AND I WOULD BUY EACH ONE OF THOSE PIECES ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻🥳🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎉🥳😊
I enjoyed that thanks for inviting me ☺️
I loved them all🎯
That's where you put a plant pot to be placed on a sunny windowsill. Love it.
They would look AMAZING with lights inside! Especially the big one!
That orange and white one turned out amazing!! And hey now you know where you went wrong...and try again. Love your experiments
I think the plastic sheet ridges add character style class and personality to your projects.
They're very funkadelic 😎 I love the colors and whimsical shapes. Not every plan goes the way we expect, but that doesn't mean we won't get some kind of fantastic art at the end❤❤
Love the colors. I think they turned out really "funky ".
Those are some amazing statement pieces --- they'd look great in a large open area. They're each so bold in color I'd like to see them in an area with space around them so they're not competing with other or with anything else for attention. Really beautiful work!!!
The colors are wonderful! Maybe you should do this again, then fold everything up, put it in a bucket or a big pvc pipe. Then fill it up with a bright color resin and then see what you can make out of it.
The free-form of these kind of remind me of those sand/lightening sculptures. Pretty cool, not a failure
I love this kind of thing. Thanks to Entropy.
These are so cool! I hope we get to see you do this again. I love watching you make beautiful things 😍 Thank you
