Hello, I started driving trucks in 1995 and no one, including trainers, ever explained to me why you had to make sure your tandems was set on the 5th hole. I had three pick ups in California and didn't check my weight because I trusted that my Driver manager knew what he was doing, but I guess I'm the one that didn't know what was going on. I got a $900 ticket when I crossed from California into Arizona at a weight scale because my tandems was not set properly!! My question is, when you get your empty weight, and your tandem is on the 5th hole, how do you know which way to move your tandems to get your weight right if your weight is off!?
When you hook up to a trailer and move the trailer wheels, how do you know where the pins are unless you actually get out and look? Is this something you learn by experience before you look or are you just guessing?
Trailer 53365, got it. :P I think I would be tempted to have a notepad and a piece of paper and write it out. I think the proper term for that is kinesthetic learner. I dominantly learn by doing. Thanks for the video.

one thing i noticed is that you didnt check the top side lights in your pre trip walk around of your new loaded trailer..
Were you at the Kraft in Aurora IL? Looks like it...
