I made this journey by land and it doesn't take that long. The lake that you passed in the middle of the flight is the dead sea and it can be visited as a day trip from either Jerusalem or Amman.

No one of them under 500 dollars. And not even in summer season... European airlines might be less luxury, but they are definitely more modern and way more less expensive. I just was in a flight 3 days ago with Norwegian and the 2 hour flight costed 30 dollars. The legroom was amazing and the cabin was new and modern.
Hello! I'm Israeli and realy like RJ. I flew RJ from Chicago - Amman - Tel Aviv and back to Chicago about 6 years ago. Great flight, friendly staff, the food was wonderful and I loved that they served us whisky out of fancy decanters!
Dennis Bunnik flew the same route on RJ's 788 a few months ago; he said they were restricted to no higher than 8000ft and that all pax and crew were to remain seated, hence the quick service prior to departure.
Royal Jordanian has a really nice and unique livery, but it looks quite dated. They should change it by adding curves like most planes have. I don’t want them to ruin their great concept. Nice video Felix! 👍👍

0:48 Interesting how the flight board displays all the codeshare flight numbers as an individual flight. For example, LY347, LX4221, AA8393, TP8894 are all the same plane to Zurich departing from C9. Usually, airports list each flight on one line, with the codeshare flight numbers cycling within that line. Never seen them all listed out individually like that before.
We have working relationships with Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and now, UAE. I think it is good for us. Oman and Bahrain and other Arab nations are still not so keen .... yet. Fingers crossed, in time we will all have diplomatic ties with one another, I hope.
I think that Jordanians need this trip because many Palestinians who live in occupied Palestine go to visit their families in Jordan, or some of them go to study in Jordan because it is an Arab Muslim country and it is nearby. Because many of Jordan’s residents are of Palestinian origin and have relatives in occupied Palestine.. As for other countries such as Turkey and the UAE, I don’t know if there is a reason for flights between them and the occupied country, but in general, everyone who establishes relations with this country is a traitor and a disgrace to Muslims

If you get a deal on a long-haul flight on Royal Jordanian in business, it might be worth it -- not because of significant added comfort, but because you aren't paying extra for whatever you get. RJ is popular among Israelis who go to the Far East, because El Al (and even other airlines when flying out of Israel) has to make long detours to avoid flying in banned airspace and this can add several hours to the flight time.

It depends on the airline, some low cost European really forbid you to stand the moment the plane enters the Israeli air space (some 100km before Tel Aviv). Since this is a very short flight, and the average cruising altitude is only 2700m, I imagine it may be true for this flight as well
